Re: Reason Studios 13 or 14 (Future Talk)
Reason for me at the latest version is running like a dream on my system too. Better than it has maybe since version 7 many moons ago. For what its worth I'm running it on Windows 10 Ryzen 7 5800X with 32 Gb Ram and a RX 580 Graphics card. I have heard things about Nvidia cards recently causing weir...

The New Website
I actually love the new website. I'm a web designer for what its worth but this site is much quicker, laid out nicer, and looks much more responsive than the previous version.

Oh I'm pumped. I live in North Carolina so it starts here at 11 Pm our time. Gonna grab a couple beers and celebrate my favorite music making software. Started on version 2.5 many moons ago and still rockin with Reason today.

Re: How I love Reason
Having done my share of "DAW Hopping" of the years as well, I can say Reason is still the standout in a number of ways. The visual difference alone is huge for me personally. The Rack system to me just makes more sense. I love being able to have it on my second screen where all of my instruments and...

Re: It was 20 years ago today…
I was in a Guitar Center in my early 20's and decided it was time for me to dive in the Pro audio world by grabbing an MBOX 2 that came with Protools 7 LE. That package came with several pieces of software including "Reason Adapted 2.5". I fell in love with the workflow of using Reason rewired into ...

Re: Reason 12.5.3 Released — Audio resets on patch change, Master section automation bug fix
This latest version of Reason has been rock solid for me on Windows 10 and 11. As a matter of fact im having less performance issues than I did when I was on version 11 at this point. I know the initial release was pretty bumpy (By reason's standards) but im finally at a place where the stability is...

Re: New Roadmap (December 2022)
Reason 12 at this point is optimized for me on Windows 10 22H2 very very well. As a matter of fact, I went back to my old production machine ( i7-4790, 16 GB ram) and opened a project I made with Reason 10. I installed the lastest version of 12 on it and compared CPU usage on both. I am getting much...

As a big fan of early Industrial this track sounds so cool to me. I love all the little "arpy" sounds in between those huge drums. Awesome job on this man!

Re: Is Reason Studios falling apart?
Sorry to ruin the party, but Reason works here and still does the work. Hope you guys find what you are looking for in the software :) But I think Reason as a company is doing great. And I would guess they are probably doing fine and far from falling apart. But I might be wrong...but then again, th...

Re: Latest Roadmap (June 3 2022)
Reason Studios say: "Having fixed the issues in Reason 12..." This part bothers me. I've been with reason 12 since launch and was one of the lucky ones I guess because I didn't really see any performance issues. The hi-res graphics were inconsistent but that didn't concern me, because I don't care ...

Re: They seem to really need the money: REASON 12 UPGRADE 60% OFF
This is a ridiculously good deal. Reason 12 at this point is very stable and working great on both windows 10 and 11. If I wasn't already using 12 I'd call this a no brainer. I welcome more of these kinds of promo's from Reason Studios as times are getting pretty tough out here.

Re: Richard Barbieri is a Reason user!
That's awesome. I love learning about professionals who use Reason. So many people like to discredit the DAW and call it a toy. I always hear people saying professionals don't use it, but the list of professionals who use it is growing longer and longer, especially with the introduction of RRP. Of ...

Re: Do you think the nowday's Reason is too CPU-heavy?
Not sure what everyone's setups are but Reason 12 is the most cpu efficient DAW I use outside of Reaper. Obviously opening it up to VST's a couple years ago made it use a little more cpu but after a couple of updates its been running as smooth as can be. I'm running Windows 10 with a Ryzen 3600 and ...
