It's hard to imagine Willie, Waylon and the boys supporting the Repubs.
But it's a Bizarro World™ ain't it?
willie is supporting a very liberal democrat who has different views than the republicans...like the complete opposite :)

Re: Can any of my fave metal albums be easily remastered?

I guess I'm one of those who prefers to have the final product the way the band and producers intended it for the time. I know a lot of bands who have gone through this...I always use the picture analogy....when you go through a yearbook of photos you will notice fashion and hair cuts that you don't...

Re: MCDSP ChannelStrip Deal 70% off

Love the Moo. Having this as VST plugin is tempting but I guess my https://klanghelm.com/contents/products/MJUC/MJUC.php has it all covered. Don't hear much about Klanghelm, it's mind blowing. it covers all the basis of 10 eqs, 10 compressors, saturator, expansion and filtering with like 30 vsts es...

Re: UAD Plugins not working (

I use them on the important things...master bus, lead vocal, drum group, kick, snare, etc...I haven't had any more issues than regular vst's to be honest. I think there were a few updates and since that it's been smoother, but I do wish we could get more vst's, uad plugs and track count which reason...

Re: Space Echo

While we’re on the subject of old echo pedals check out this baby. Blows up speakers. From experience :) I have learned my lesson more than once when I was starting out...I love feedback loops, and it's always a safe bet to add a brick wall limiter at the end of the chain when doing experimental st...

yeah that's cool!

I have an old CassetteDeck 2 by Nakamichi, not lofi, but retro hifi :D
I have a nakamichi mr1...3 heads...it's an excellent slap back :)

also a wonderful predelay before my furman rv1 spring reverb.

Really? You know you can automate the waveform changes while in oscilator mode?
haven't done that with movement yet, but do that with other synths since the subtractor. good stuff!

However, my question is this: is this merely bringing the thread back on topic or is it directed toward the previous comments that you’ve seen in the thread? I just post random audio trivia here. Inspiration are the forum, real life, the interwebs and a big white bunny that apparently only I can se...

Re: Random audio trivia of the day

a lot of hardware that was made back in the day has a sound. I like to put the fairchild on the mix buss and leave the comrpression circuit off while it passes through all the tubes/modeling...it's pretty cool try it out! make sure the threshold is off. Unfortunately I can't afford that stuff :/ I ...

Re: Random audio trivia of the day

it's not just a regular eq, especially if you have the hardware unit. it's pretty magical. Do you have the 40 y/o original or one of the reissues by Pulse? Or another company’s clone? I’ve never had a huge use for Pultec EQP-1A unless I’ve got access to a pair of them. If I’ve got access to a pair ...

Re: Random audio trivia of the day

to my ears it's the most pleasing high end. it's like a soft pillow instead of a hard spikey bed made of nails :) At least SOME of the Pultec “magic” is based on the fact the total available boost isn’t that much compared to other EQs. So even for an EQ with similar boost/cut, the Pultec’s boost (a...

Re: Random audio trivia of the day

my favorite pultech eq band is 8khz, granted it's a crazy curve and I set it pretty wide, it helps instruments pop out better than most other tools I have. So it's just a regular eq right? What makes it your favorite? Saturation or something? it's not just a regular eq, especially if you have the h...

I had a piece of a cotton ball in my ear for a long time, probably over a year and didn't know it. I went to tahiti, and the heat and sweating made me get an ear infection. I went to the dr. which was a french polynesian lady who couldn't speak english very well, and we should looked in there, she s...
