I like to use compressors for their tone.

You can get some great distortion and grit! Compressors also impart a tone just by running signal through them at least in the analog world.. since they have stuff like transformers and tubes

seen this band a few times! I liked them when their bass player rolly and drummer merv were in the band! Well. Using Reason has become quite expensive yet you get less for the money. Something has to change at PH or they will not last long. Apple are giving artists what they need and want, real value.
