Re: Selig ColoringEQ In The Shop!

Well, essentially that’s what the Masters do, but using sliders instead of handles to do so. This is key. I found that I felt that I should be clicking and selecting handles because that's what I was used to doing. When I realised that all I had to do was simply turn the knob to adjust the full sel...

Nice patches.

Inconmensurability comes to my mind in front of Reason 10.
Now you mention it, that is the perfect word.

Also I agree they are some really nice patches.

To summarize:

+1.

...must say it has passed that requirement with flying 'colors'. (see what I did there?), I saw what you did there. You wrote the American version of "colors" and not the British version "colours" as written by folks where you live. Thanks for not confusing the forum. That was mighty neighbourly of...

Excellent, fun stuff.

This is pure gold, I'm going to get my tennis racket out of the loft to celebrate, and work on my guitar face.

I'll try this one I think.

Re: Selig ColoringEQ In The Shop!

First impressions are really good even without getting deeply involved in it so far. The per band saturation is far more effective than I would have imagined, particularly on stems that have had too much attention spent on the highs and lows, it really does add more life into the mid range areas if ...

Congratulations on the new release.

I know that you've put a great deal of time and effort into this in order to make an EQ that isn't just another EQ..

I hope it really goes well for you.

Yes, I see. Gotta try this one out if it works in the rack. Also Spotify/Youtube would work with a loopback from soundflower or so,.... through some filter/gate pitch shifting delay and other stuff you're not allowed to talk about, reading the fine print on the end of the page. World of sound, I ca...

Yup, you've locked yourself out of the computer authorization route. If you do any kind of operation on the OS to be on the safe side de-authorize the computer first. Then when you are done with messing with the OS it is a simple job of re-authorizing. I've done this myself before, after a public b...

There's this thing in eastern religions called Dharma that is something to do with finding and living your divine purpose, best of luck with finding that, but from your description, you seem to have a good balance between 'work' and creativity, and never worry about a partner that doesn't understan...

I haven't seen that word used since I was 11 when an educational clinician brought me in for an assesment due to my lack of interest in school. I'd started out as a bright prospect and was able to read a newspaper whilst my 4 year old peers were still stuck on learning the alphabet. So I was somewha...

So I went through and activated the FX app through the stand alone version, and it now shows that FX LE has been activated. Confirmed, this issue is reproducing on my screen.

I've tried all the suggestions given above regarding scaling, to no avail either.

I'm on the latest build Windows 10 v1709 (Fall Creators Update) also.

Re: Any tips on buying a midi drum kit to use with Reason?

I built my own kit around a £130 mesh head practice kit and some home made triggers going through an Alesis TriggerIO. The whole setup wasn't as cheap as some of the budget kits but it has bags of flexibility, it's dead quiet, and the feel is pretty good if a bit heavy going. I don't use it as a 'dr...

I'm curious if you could provide more specs on the computer. Processor and amount of RAM at least. If you were running R5 on it you've probably had it for a number of years. Might need a new PC. I think using a pre-amp + IR is not enough. you need power amp simulation as well. I use tube amps + palmer PDI03 for this in combination with IRs. Or use this mind blowing power amp in software: https://www.kvraudio.com/product/tpa-1-by-ignite-amps The Ignite stuff is the best around. Beats anythi...

Re: How do you guys feel about Reason getting rewritten on 11?

Reason has had many rewrites in the last few years. A completely re-written browser for example. Is everyone happy with that rewrite? Personally I still preferred several aspects of the old browser (certainly not the speed though), I still think there is plenty of work to be done on the browser. The...
