Re: Sequencer updates on the horizon
I also have always thought that if Reason moved the tools from the tool window into an extended toolbar in the Sequencer, many users would see them like new features, and others who have known about them, would maybe use them more often. There's actually some really useful tools there. R13

Re: Life after Rewire
Is it only to sync video? There's VidPlayVST which works alright. It's got some quirks when using in Reason, like the video not updating in realtime when scrubbing... It plays ok (aside from the occasional hiccups), but when dragging the playhead, it only updates after you release it (this isn't the...

Yeah looks to me like someone got a Reason tattoo and got a previous 13 tattoo touched up and saw the opportunity to pair the two. But Reason Studios sharing it no doubt seems like a teaser.

Re: Chord Sequencer: reduce number of note-output?
You may already know this, but you can at least 'Remove Bass' and define below what note will be filtered. I can't think off the top of my head which REs might offer the most straight forward solution to limit polyphony, but if the instrument you are using has a polyphony setting, you could try sett...

Re: FREE! Behringer Vintage Plugin synth
Trying it out. These octave settings are the worst I have ever encountered. It is their first plugin and not that I am wishing them success in the plugin world, but I rather they partner with RS and we get subtractor and the like in a hardware version. As a matter of fact they do not represent any ...

Re: United Plugins Randomachine - Free for 3 days
Looking forward to trying it out.
I was a bit confused because on the UnitedPlugins site it says it is by Soundevice Digital, but I got an email receipt from MeldaProduction, which I guess United Plugins is now a part of Melda, but the plugins are not on the Melda site.

Re: Ekssperimental Sounds: TAPEFUNK M10 RE released
Yeah, it's not automatable since it glitches the sound. If you still want to do it you could stick the Tapefunk in a combo and assign a knob to it and automate it that way:) I didn't see Tighten Response available via combi assignment either combi assignments.png Maybe my screen is brighter, or the...

This is an awesome update! under the hood.png The under the hood stuff is a little difficult to read at 100% zoom...maybe the text could be brightened a touch or you can add a light switch? :D Although I kind of like that I have to zoom in to see what I'm doing when I open it up lol I like th...

Re: Reason 10 To Reason 12
If you download and install the latest from Companion, you get the latest. Companion doesn't support Reason 10. Not sure if you are running a trial, but might just have been running Reason 12 in demo mode.

I trust the AI answer on this one (see above). It was pretty convinced it knew the right answer even when I pushed against the answers it gave, it kept reassuring me that people in the forum are misunderstanding or are misinformed

Re: Steinberg discontinues vst2 for all users
I asked AI and linked to this thread :D It said this: The forum discussion you linked likely stems from a misunderstanding or misinformation about VST2 licensing. While Steinberg created the VST format, they don't have control over how other DAWs choose to implement it. Here's a breakdown: VST2 is a...

Do you have a screenshot? Where exactly did you see this? I use Safari and have never seen warnings like that on the homepage.

Re: iZotope Trash is back
I think NI will step by step unify all its sub brands into additions to Komplete/Native Access so they don't have to support additional deployment and authentication systems for eternity. Merging of the different accounts into a/the NI account will also be step in this process. Funny I thought izot...

Re: iZotope Trash is back
I don't understand why they feel the need to slap the NI brand onto iZotope. You can acquire brands, but they can in fact remain separate. iZotope is a well known brand. I actually held it in higher regard than NI. Does it have to be "iZotope by Native Instruments"? And what does that mean now for E...

Re: Access Virus is discontinued
Any word on the possibility of an official and legit VST version? I know of the emulation that's out there, but seems like an opportunity if resources allow because I think a lot of people would buy a software version.
