That's certainly a mean delay! I like his Reverb RE a lot and have used it for specific spacial effects. Might give his vst a trial run. Thanks!Soeno wrote: ↑07 Apr 2019Rob Papen has a new delay too (VST)

Re: Recommendations: Reverse Delay RE For Real-time Use?
Polar Dual Pitch shifter has a buffer that can be reversed, frozen and mangled. It can do some wild stuff, I haven’t managed to tame it yet though. It gets out of hand pretty quickly. Yeah, I've been using it lot and know exactly what you mean! I'm a big fan of its StutterVerb (in Tweak) patch with...

Recommendations: Reverse Delay RE For Real-time Use?
Hi guys, hope you're all well. I'm on the hunt for a reverse delay effect for recording my electric guitar into Reason real-time. I've been using my TC Electronic Flashback x4 pedal for reverse effects in a live setting, but I'm having a lot of issues capturing it in Reason (noise/ground hum/etc.). ...

Re: Did anyone else have to giggle...
And Waves plugins often crash when starting Reason. That’s the "Waves Central" Software. It’s also crashing Studio One. Which version of Studio One? I have version 2 and my latest Waves V.10 purchases keep crashing everything (TG Mastering Chain + Abbey Rd Chamber). V.9s work fine, but once I drag ...

Re: Advice Needed: Template For Mastering Albums In Reason
Many thanks for your reply EnochLight, it certainly did help! I got very familiar with S1's metering/visual layout and Voxengo's SPAN also proved invaluable as a secondary reference. Moreover, mastering on a different platform gives the process a much-needed sense of separation. I've messaged Waves ...

Advice Needed: Template For Mastering Albums In Reason
Hi, I'm curious how you guys master albums in Reason. I've just purchased Waves V.10 Abbey Rd Chambers and TG Mastering Chain and can't get them to work in Presonus Studio One 2. They freeze its mastering suite and corrupt all the other Waves V.9 plugs I own - I then have to uninstall/re-install eve...

Re: Just going crazy
I had the ASIO driver selected for my audio interface, changed it and that fixed it. I was just going to mention this. My Focusrite driver was fine on Win 7 until I updated to Win 10 on my old machine. Everything went downhill thereafter: drop-outs/noise/crashes/etc. The latency/buffer values were ...

Re: 500$ budget: Best audio interface/monitors
Yamaha HS8 monitors are extremely good for the money, but probably out of your budget if considering an interface as well (although, a used pair might suffice). The Focusrite 2i2 or 2i4 are good budget interfaces and the 1st generation are commonly found used on eBay (or on Facebook's Marketplace). ...

Re: Help needed: Zoom in/out not working in sequencer
UPDATE:
It seems the zoom function will only work when the browser pane on the left is hidden, or when the focus is on the sequencer ONLY. This wasn't the case when running on Win 10. Darn, the quirks of changing operating systems!

Help needed: Zoom in/out not working in sequencer
Hi, really scratching my head over this one: since migrating from Win 10 to MacOS Mojave, Reason's sequencer zoom is not working properly. I can zoom in with the slider, but zooming out is not functioning as before. The quick zoom function is not working either when I highlight the track in question...

Re: Question about setting up MIDI with a Korg Volca Sample
Yeah that’s how I’ve done it. It takes a while to set it up initially but just save it as a combi and you’re good to go! If and when reason eventually supports multiple midi channels that would of course be the ideal scenario. Thanks for your reply mate. Y, multiple channel support would be great, ...

Question about setting up MIDI with a Korg Volca Sample
Hi guys,
hope you're all keeping well.
I have a query about connecting a Volca Sample via MIDI: having 10 fixed channels, do I need 10 External MIDI Instruments (EMI) in the Rack, with each assigned 1-10 respectively, or is there a workaround?
Thanks

Re: Migrating from Win to macOS - what software issues should I expect?
Update: Well, I'm now a very happy owner of a Mac mini i7/16gb ram/256gb storage. Quiet as a mouse and none of the ground hum/overheating issues I had with my previous machine. Plug and play! So far, Mojave is proving extremely intuitive compared to Windows 10 and Reason/Studio One runs like a dream...

Re: Migrating from Win to macOS - what software issues should I expect?
Hey, thanks guys for your comments and advice. I watched a vid recently of a guy dismantling one - I’m already experiencing pre-surgery tension! I considered another Win laptop, a Dell XPS13 (my entire budget of £1500), but rarely used the screen/keypad on my old one (it lived in my studio 99%), so ...

Migrating from Win to macOS - what software issues should I expect?
Hi guys, hope you're all well. I'm finally going to upgrade from my haggard old Win laptop to a better machine in the next weeks. Being a teacher, Apple offers an educational discount (approx.8%), so a 2018 Mac mini with i7/16GB RAM/128 SSD will set me back £1170 (£1203 with Applecare+) here in the ...
