Re: Announcing Reason 13
The thing is I dont want to add another device just for low / high cut, 2 simples knobs that are very easy to implement in the device I have noticed the feedback filter but I cant seem to view the actual low and high cut off knobs (frequency cut off) If I select low/high will the freq shift / offse...

Re: Reason 13 Gain Tool <—> Selig Gain
In my opinion, these two racks couldn't be more different. I don't think we're even remotely talking about plagiarism. Does Selig at least get some kind of royalties? :D Kidding aside, I have long used an instance of Selig Gain after every plug-in/effect in my mixer channel for gain staging, so I'm...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Thank you RS! My only question is did you fix colors & order of tracks to match every window? I never understood why you make a track blue in one window but it’s some random color in a different window and why the order of tracks you make in one window is different in the others. I've never seen th...

Re: A.I music will take over
MMW slang MMW is a slang term with multiple meanings. Here are some of the most common definitions: Making Me Wet: This is one of the most popular meanings of MMW, used to express excitement or arousal. Mark My Words: This definition is often used to emphasize the certainty of a statement or predic...

MMW, in the future, artists will license their 'data set' to AI Music Players, and get paid royalties for any AI generated content using their data. So maybe you want to hear Michael Jackson doing an AC/DC style song with Oscar Peterson playing piano – no problem. Sure will be a lot of fun for peop...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
what is the difference between the Stereo Tool and the master imaging tool (I am bad with names ;) - hope it is clear which one I am referring to)we have? Seems like the existing one has more options for width of bass frequencies (this is all over my tracks)- ist the phase behavior of the new one c...

Re: Life after Rewire
Ableton Link is supported by Reason and Logic, so syncing the two should be no problem (I have NOT tested this myself, but Link is pretty fool proof in my experience).

Re: Billie Eilish: singing the "real" version of MJ's "Bad"
Reminds me (in a good way) of Lorde’s cover of “Everybody Wants to Rule the World:. I’m always into a cover that is unrecognizable from the original, and tend to totally dismiss covers that sound like the original - but that’s just me.

Re: Opinions on Bitwig
I've been loving bitwig since version 4. It just keeps getting better and better with each release. Frequent updates have always had lots of nice improvements. It plays really nice with the Reason rack. The unified modulation scheme is nuts, lets you add modulation to just about anything, which can...

Re: Issue with parallel outs changing name of tracks to "mixer channel"
I need more information - what do you mean "output the parallel to a bass track"? Can you show a screen shot?
I was going to try to replicate but got stuck on that first line…but normally the only way to create a sequencer track is to add a device that supports it or to add it manually.

Re: How to adjust MIDI knob sensitivity?
The weird thing is Beatstep works OK controlling my Aeros looper, but honestly I use the pads (as buttons) for most actions and I’ve not dug deeper into the knobs as controllers. I can check today and report back - it’s still a handy controller to have around IMO, especially for it’s size. A possibl...

Re: How to adjust MIDI knob sensitivity?
If you google this you will come up with others expressing the same concerns for years now, so there may be little you can do besides checking the Acceleration setting as suggested by Huggermugger. Here the thread from 2014 with Arturia saying the fix is coming soon: https://legacy-forum.arturia.com...

Re: Reason Studios 13 or 14 (Future Talk)
I nearly forgot about the Logic update that's coming. I'll be looking forward to that one because I learned it might have a major GUI overhaul. Where did you learn about this? I haven’t heard anything like this on the main ‘rumor’ sites, but there IS a rumor about Logic is being (fully?) ported to ...

Re: The best ways to learn Mixing and Mastering
It depends on how you learn. I tried the traditional recording school approach, but dropped out after a semester due to poor quality teaching. I read the textbook cover to cover before the beginning of classes, which was helpful for me to see what the teachers were missing… :( After I dropped out I ...

Re: How to use Thor as a saturation effect
Hello, 1. I want to use Thor as a saturation effect. How can I do that? (For example, the instrument is Europa, and I want to saturate the sound with Thor). 2. Can we use Thor as a multi-band saturator? How? Thanks The basic concept: With Thor you have one option for saturation, the Shaper module. ...

Re: Ekssperimental Sounds: TAPEFUNK M10 RE released
1) You do NOT need a wet/dry on this plugin, as if you dial the input right back and just compensate with output for level, that's much better than a wet/dry, RS audiomatic sounds nothing like tape whatsoever - it can be a wonderful effect but that's what it is, an effect, not a tape simulation, so...

Re: talking about sick drum fill ins
Am I the only one that thinks this fill in is awesome? Which fill, the original or the cover (they are not the same fill…)? ;) Thought I'd dig into my otherwise useless drum training and transcribe the two fills showing the differences. Also, note that the first fill uses two toms, the second uses ...

Well there you go, I used the same exact audio source and found them to be unexpectedly close to spot on, to the point I'm OK admitting I could be fooled in a blind test. I'll live. I expected them to be very close, or you wouldn't have posted the combinator. So I think something went wrong in the ...

Re: Thinking of buying RoughRider RE, talk me out of it...
If you're feeling like it, load up this combinator and hit the "swap" button a few times while listening (I used drums, if that matters). Thanks for your effort. I tried it on the default drum-loop in OctoRex, and with the settings in your combi it was completely off between the "swap". Well there ...
