Re: Reason Automation

That's right, it's a pleasure to use automation When I think about automating things in Ableton Live, I always delay doing it I also use automation in Reason as a sound design tool, as it's so easy to do, and combining that with stretching the automation clips it's very easy to come up with some ori...

So we better think through what we write here before we post anything

Also, that's news to me, didn't know that as I never tried to edit a post

Reason Automation

I really like the way Reason implemented automation, with the clips. FL Studio has a similar approach, but the way Reason does it is superior, because at first you set a default value, and when you need to set new values you just insert a clip. When a clip ends, the default value kicks in. Why doesn...

Re: VST3 only - the list of major plugins is growing

Some vst developers aren't too happy with some aspects of the vst3 specs and development features and maybe that's one of the causes for the delay in the adoption of the technology, including DAW developers

They do state the criteria, but for the entries, not for choosing the winners.

Those are 2 different things

Re: Kilohearts new dual delay(free)

Is it possible to use Snap Heap to host this plugin ?

Snap Heap is VST 2 compatible from what is presented on the product page

The plugin is like a mini host where you can load and combine different effects

Re: When was the last time you used the supplied sounbanks?

On a side note, I used Orkester sound banks quite often when I was just starting out in Reason, but after 14-15 years it seems all those samples stayed the same, am I wrong? Of course they stayed the same, as you would not want to break projects relying on those. If I remember correctly at one time...

Re: What are the biggest reasons, why certain bugs appear for only few of us?

Is there any possibility for them to use AI for bug testing purposes ? They could maybe feed the AI with all the possible hardware and software configurations, and then let the algorithms run all the possible combinations Writing this I just realized that it's possible for the AI software to have bu...

Windows

Not having to worry about M1, new operating system updates that break compatibility with plugins and DAWs, and other nonsense that just stands in the way of creating music

Re: Anyone using AI art?

Would you consider AI music your music if the only thing you would have to do would be to push a button ? No, I'd consider that the radio. I was talking about making music, not listening to music. People don't think that the music on the radio is their music, like people pushing a button to create ...

If you're a developer, you probably know more about what motivates developers than me, as I'm not one Maybe I should have used "companies" instead of "developers" when I wrote my post above Here's the corrected post: Subscription models don't motivate companies to come up with new features People wi...

Subscription models don't motivate developers to come up with new features People will just pay to use the same features, otherwise they won't be able to use the program at all No pay, no play In the perpetual license model, developers were motivated to come up with enough new features to incentiviz...

Yes, that's their trick : the new libraries won't work in earlier versions, so it doesn't matter how much better the new version of Kontakt is, people will have to buy it just to be able to use new libraries
