Looks like i need to buy legend and VK-2.
Because the other synths you mentioned are also my favourites.
Give also a try to obsession, same category as vk2 and Legend but even better sounding IMHO.

Re: What are your fav synths to “just listen to”?

To play around, I felt in love with fabfilter twin 3, the UI is really the best around and the visual feedback of what you are doing on the sound really really help. I am not a great sound designer and it's like this plugin gives me super power. Like the OP I love obsession and the legend. Twin 3 se...

So it seems. I should have added that it seems to have a big dollop of Grain and Mimic too. Crazy number of combinations. And I have to say all the visuals on the Play UI are quite delightful. I am actually delighted that this thread could help you discover pigments. It is really a fantastic synth....

Re: Your 3 best soft synths in 2023.

Based on these results I picked up Pigments (while it’s on sale and music press reviews were off the charts). Seems like a turbo powered Europa. Yeah they have a lot of similarities... But pigments has a major advantage over Europa... It's being updated very regularly. So it looks more and more tur...

After using Fabfilter Twin 3 since a couple of days, I am baffled by how engaging the UI is for sound design, in particular for substractive synthesis. The fact that you have so many filters richness and visual feedback at the same time is magical. You can see and hear directly what you do and what ...

That good copy protection can hurt your bottom line. FL Studio is arguably the most used DAW because it is also the most pirated DAW. The misconception is that someone with a pirated copy will never buy a license, but in reality people either abandon the software because it is not their thing (so n...

Re: Who would you prefer to acquire Reason Studios?

Arturia and UAD would be more logical choices strategically but even there the business case wouldn’t be super strong, Arturia have their own thing going and I’m not sure what Reason would add, and UAD already have a DAW (Luna) and serious plugin coding chops. ... TL;DR: dunno. But let's hope it’s ...

Sorry to say but it is still very very trancey :-)...

But the atmosphere is very pleasant, the elephant sounds are really nice and go well with the percussion.
The mixing and Mastering seem to be very good, it is not tiring on the hear and the kick really standout the way it should (in my opinion).
