A really good song with some nice vocals.
But, hey, you had me when the breakbeat started!
Was the mixing/mastering also done in Reason?
Keep up the good work!

Re: (EDM/Trance) Gnuc - Dreamer UPDATE
Here is the second half of the song: https://vimeo.com/669216860?activityReferer=1 New melody, one chord has changed. As first melody represents someone who wants to but does not dare, the second melody is about that person letting go of doubts, fear, etc. It is a rough version. I am not sure of the...

Re: Chord Progression
The level my music is at is fine, I think. I guess it just comes down to learning the names of the notes/chords. Imagine it being like this: I am able to make a pretty decent meal. I know what to use, but just do not know the names of all ingredients. I am just better at learning if I can talk abou...

Re: (EDM/Trance) Gnuc - Dreamer
Very nice tune. The melody played by the lead is memorable. The rythmic section sounds good too. I feel a bit diappointed by the snare sound, it is a little too dry for my taste, it could use more slap. Such a cool melody has a lot of potential, but for now there's only one theme and only one harmo...

(EDM/Trance) Gnuc - Dreamer
Greetings, my friends! :) I am working on this one, but wanted to ask for some opinions: https://soundcloud.com/gnucmusic/dreamer-demo Do you think the lead is too loud , etc? As for the percussions (Closed HH, Shaker...), I have not found proper ones yet. I am also not sure if the song is too short...

Re: Chord Progression
As for making music itself, I always go by ear.
But I also want to be able to call what I am doing by its name.
So, thanks for all the examples/links. That should help me big time to figure it out.

Re: Finding Your Sound
Thanks for all the replies. Yeah, I guees I am more of a preset junkie. I just do not understand good sound design enough, although I do create my own sound at times. But mostly I do modify presets that sound like what I have in mind. Metaphorical speaking: I guess, as for me, it comes with age: at ...

Re: Chord Progression
I was asking for its chord progression of the song, or more so for its name. As for making music and chord progression, I am fine as for going by ear. But I knew people who could tell the chord progression of songs. I have never been able to do that. So, I wanna get a little more into music theory. ...

Chord Progression
Greetings, my friends! :) I have a question about chord progression: How do you call the chord progression in the song I added? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoxGk-fcTSI&list=PLBKadB95sF45EIvMGIN0P7DjxnLlVy-E4&index=17 I am trying to dive into the craft a little bit more this year. So if you also ...

Finding Your Sound
Greetings, my friends! I have a question: how do you find your sound? Do you try to sound different each time, of do you have a certain way you want to sound? I was listening to some orchestral music and was thinking: "More or less the same instruments all the time, but never boring." But when I mak...
