Ah ha! As it turns out, I never changed the default password, so I tried the default password and it worked. I've now disabled the license on the Balance and that appears to have solved my problem.

I'm glad this one is solved because it was driving me nuts.

Not sure if this applies to you, but when using RRP in Gig Performer on my Mac, I have to use the VST3 version. Any other version produces the same result you report.
