Re: Studio One Crossgrade Possibility -- Opinions Sought
Steve, press F3 and a mixer will appear, F2 brings the editor. in the lower right corner you have buttons to get the mixer on screen. With regards to the mixer, I was disapointetd first by its look. I missed all these knobs for EQ and alike. But when you load an EQ FX you have like a litle monitor i...

Re: Studio One Crossgrade Possibility -- Opinions Sought
Steve, there is one more thing to consider. As you say you are in recording, when you demo S1 have a look at the way you can configure the mixer. You can easyly set up different Que mixes. You can have the audio inputs of the interface displayed. If you use sonarworks, you can have the corrections r...

Re: Studio One Crossgrade Possibility -- Opinions Sought
Hi Steve, I already made the switch via the crossgrade and I am so happy I did. It opened up a new world. There is workflow for sure, and you can tailor the DAW to your need in a VERY flexible way. But another big advantage is integration. Studio One integrates Melodyne and other software via ARA In...

Re: Nektar Panorama
I do not complain, I am just asking if I do miss something.
I cannot see the benefit, but I might be too stupid.
Anyhow, nice graphics, a lot of work well done. If this is a proof of concept as its sole purpose it is still ok.

Re: Nektar Panorama
WHY?
I am happy to have the hardware to touch.
Back to the mouse seems silly.
And who doesn't have the Panorama cannot benefit from this either.
What do I miss here?

Re: Which DAW to replace Reason?
There is no one right answer to this. It depends on what you need and miss in Reason. Different Tools for different tasks. In my case the DAW is Studio One. I need all the features they provide for producing songs for singers, and I do need VSTs with realistic instrument samples like country guitar,...

Re: New Pricing for Reason 12 - Upgrades now 199 from 129
Count me out. 129 was far to high for this upgrade. 199 is prohibitive. And I cannot imagine that Reason 13 will be different.
I stick with 11 Suite in a proper DAW as long as it is useful and sooner or later it is time to say goodby.

Re: Reason Studios shares their roadmap
Thanks Matthias and Reason Studios for sharing the plan. As you asked for feedback, here is my view. I am not part of the target audience, so it will not be of much value, but here it goes anyhow. Now that I know what was delivered now and what to expect in a future Roadmap, I do not see that I will...

Re: Reason 12 in 5 days. Excited ?
PG Music Band in a Box is a learning tool for people playing a real instrument. It creates a Band playing something you can play along to practice. It's also the source of countless refills and sound packs. How so? I am not aware. You mean people create a loop or such in BiaB and turn that into a r...

Re: tools or toys?
I believe that REASON as a DAW is dead. PS will never be able to catch up with the "real" DAWs that exist. Don't know if the want to anyhow, doesn't look like they do. As I see the DAW (Sequencer, Midi and Audio Editor, Mixer) as a tool; it would be Toys that remain - if I stick with this distinctio...

Re: Reason Helped me get Cubase 11 Pro for a Reason-able Price
I did the same with Studio One (which is heavily influenced by cubase). Having a REASON License entitled me for a substancial discount. And while Studio One offers so much functionality already (including a more that basic Notation tool), I have meanwhile bought the Notion Software that is so thight...

Re: Reason 12 is coming!
As an aside -- That's if whatever RE is mapped at all. The only reason the little screens on Nektar controllers are any use still is due to Carly's generosity in keeping their remotemaps updated. Hi there, as a Panorama user, I miss a lot of remote maps. More so for nektarine. (I use the RRP and th...

Re: Reason 12 is coming!
I'm proud of Reason Studios for sticking to their guns and doubling down on their strengths. They are the best at hardware substitution and the new features in v12 will make the Reason Rack the absolute greatest tool for sound design. It's sad there are so many Reason users who have no creativity o...

Re: Reason 11.3.9 Release Notes
Actually, I am not really looking foreward to any future enhancements. It is unlikely that Reason Studios may come up with something I would be willing to spend money. Bug Fixes is a different thing, but these should be free anyhow. REASON was more a toy that I bought when I was not aware what I rea...

Re: Reason updates (11.3.7 / 11.3.8) and Reason+
Hi, I have followed this for a while now. Now that the mood is somewhat calmer, I like to add my 2 cents. I am a longstanding user of REASON, but not the most typical. Actually, it is no good fit for my purpose, but I was attracted by the Rack and the cabling on the back. The mixer had its appeal as...
