I also run reaper, and I just want to assign listening channels to the instruments so I can route midi to multiple devices in one rack. That way I could use all of the audio i/o like I did with rewire...

So after giving it a good spin, it definitely does more than bass tones. It's excellent for that old school mono synth flavor, and I'm having fun with the limitations. Can't wait to see what 20 instances in a track can do, lol.

Let's face it look how long we've been waiting for vst2 midi devices to work. Let's make a banjo refill with real banjo samples, and stage a contest with it! I want VST MIDI in routing in the rack. I can't use a single rack for multiple instruments, and loading 12 rack plugins just feels... wrong.
Within the VST implementation all of the tools are there. What is preventing RS from adding a "MIDI In" routing capability to the VST rack?

I just grabbed a copy of this, waiting on delivery. Haven't been this excited for a VST in quite a while.

Thought I'd point it out, as there's a sale for the first 100 copies for anyone else who wants to take a peek.

The biggest problem is the money hole. You don't even wind up with a *ANY* version of Reason after a year. This is the only issue in my head. I agree that they needed to 'diversify' their onboarding procedures and revenue streams, which they did; but owning absolutely nothing after paying for a year...

Imagine a peer to peer service within Reason that lets you collaborate directly over the internet in a Reason session. Direct connect to your colleagues! Forget the studio, the whole world is your studio! Call it Studio+ !

To fix this, open "Quad Capture Control Panel' Go to Driver>Driver Settings and set your audio buffer size to 8. Save. Exit. Enjoy dropout free audio while working in Reason.

So... they just relabeled the style refills added them to a library, maybe added some templates, removed "suite" to replace it with the subscription model for access to all of "Reason Studios" products? Hiding the shop is shady as hell, but I'm optimistic that they're just playing catch up with korg...
