Re: Announcing Reason 13
I apologize for not reading through 23 pages of comments to find a possible answer, but any word on midi-routing and midi-chase? If you mean using MIDI from VST plugins - No in this release. I don't know anything about the chase though. Man, I've been really hoping to finally be able to use third-p...

Re: "Black Friday Week" sales have begun in the Reason shop!
I think this is not possible on the same PC/computer because there is only one RE folder that the different Reason versions share. Under these circumstances you can no longer buy a new RE without running into a problem. The alternative is to think more about buying Vsti. ;) Or upgrade to R12 and no...

Re: Computer Memory
Shot in the dark here, but is your project maybe using an extensive sample library with Kontakt? For example: whenever I load Damage 2 by Heavyocity into Kontakt for the first time in a project, it takes about 15 full seconds for the samples to be loaded into the memory. When I load a second instanc...

Re: "Low-hanging-fruit" feature requests compilation
MIDI chase -> the ability to play a midi note from ANY given point, instead of only from the beginning. The lack of this is especially annoying for ambient music production. Not sure how easy it is? There can be at least 2 implementations: 1) Easy - when the gate is triggered when note is played in...

Re: MusicTech: Niklas Agevik talks Reason
Can we expect a new roadmap soon, considering the last one is almost a year old and everything mentioned in it has been implemented? Don't really know who I'm asking here, I guess Mattias would most likely be the person to possibly answer this. Cheers

Re: Reason skipping notes on separate lanes
Yes, it absolutely should persist, it's some sort of bug for sure. Until it is addressed, the 'fix' is simple which is to quantize the length of the notes so they don't overlap/extend over the end of the clip, which allows you to put the clips anywhere on any lane as you would expect. Yea that's ex...

Re: Reason skipping notes on separate lanes
It seems that the notes in the yellow pattern are longer than the pattern. They don't extend the range of the block. I usually snap them to the grid by hand. When the notes overlap none of the different positions of the two blocks matter, the second (green) block wouldn't play in any case. It also ...

Re: Reason skipping notes on separate lanes
Hello again, almost 3 years later I'm still battling this bug. There's also a random nature to this as you can see at the end of this new video, where I moved both blocks up a lane and suddenly it works: https://streamable.com/kdctmv I wanted to ask if anybody who's currently on Reason 12 could try ...

Export Keyboard binds?
Hello, I'm currently cheating on Reason with Studio One and wanted to know if it's somehow possible to export the keyboard command scheme from Reason? There's an option in Studio One to import custom keyboard schemes, would be nice to have the same setup. Or if it doesn't work with Reason itself, ar...

Re: Reason skipping notes on separate lanes
Hi, I noticed that, unlike my claim in the original post, the same thing happens when moving to an upper lane aswell. The only workarounds I know are either using the same lane, or like rmtcvolte said, slightly shortening the midi length. Reason only seems to skip notes when it is stretched to the m...

Reason skipping notes on separate lanes
Hello, I tried searching for this but couldn't find anything. If there is a topic already that describes this issue, please close/ delete this post. Whenever I want to separate a chord progression into different lanes for a better overview of the project, Reason always skips the notes that stay the ...
