If your clip is small, hitting X whilst selected (or was it z?) Either way, one of those will zoom right in and make things much easier, try it out!

Yeah, I've always had zoom issue with Reason since the Arrange/ Edit views were added also placing clips accurately has been a challenge in the past; the Inspector really is yer friend in Reason; just gotta learn it The Arrange Page ...uh, oh...it's called Song View now :roll: (I'm still on Reason 1...

clip gain is very useful in getting separate clips consistent with one another--something the track's input gain would be much less efficient for. I've recently made good use of this in recording bass for my band--we had to return and redo some bass in a couple of sections a few days after the fact...
