Re: Algoritm : new FM synth from RS
Sorry if this has been asked before: will we be able to authorize algoritm on the usb ignition key once it is available? Thanks I would be very surprised if not. It should just use the same mechanism as before for authorisation. It'll be in the shop to buy, then you do a Sync All in your account to...

A new Zampled ReFill! I wonder where the samples were potentially stolen from this time?

Re: Algoritm : new FM synth from RS
If Algoritm is capable of freely routing at least 6 operators in a way that matches all 32 algorithms of PX7 then I'd really like to imagine that it will be able to open PX7 patches. That would be a serious boon. I hadn't even thought about this. I wonder if they'll offer a tool to convert .SYX int...

Re: Reason 11 sample editor bug?
it's under further investigation Reason 11's codebase feels like it's in a shit state at the moment. Bugs everywhere. The RAM memory leak bug I found is an awful one too. And the other one anDre found, which crashes the whole Reason app when you try and delete a sampler made ReDrum sample. All thre...

Re: Reason 11 sample editor bug?
So has it been confirmed as a bug by ReasonStudios It sounded to me originally like the RS support team fobbed anDre off, saying there is no bug, but now it seems they are looking into it. There definitely are bugs in the sample editor now though that weren't there in Reason 10 and prior. I followe...

Re: Reason 11 sample editor bug?
a short update. today the RS support was answering to my bug report, unfortunately the communication is to be treated as confidential and as much as i would like to post this communication here and on other related forums so anybody can read this bs, i can't and will not post it. i'm done with them...

Re: Algoritm : new FM synth from RS
As per the above, I also can't see why not. There hasn't been a new SDK, so any new REs should still run in R10 (unless Algoritm is based on a brand new SDK which has yet to be announced!)

Re: Reason bug since many versions ago
Also reasonstudios is not the sort of company who listens to the customers. I think they do listen, sometimes. They're not as bad as the current conspiracy theorists say. Reason is a wonderful piece of software, but R11 does have some bad bugs in it that really need fixing as a priority; especially...

Re: Reason bug since many versions ago
Yes, but you only could unselfcontain the samples when the original refill is present and there is no way you could copy the patch to another song . So i believe no licensing is broken here. Other than this the bug is really annoying . Perhaps it's a deliberate slowdown to encourage you to buy the ...

Re: Reason bug since many versions ago
That is related to self containing . If you self contain samples included in Refills then suddenly browsing patches and samples begin to take much more time than before self containing (if you unselfcontain , everything reverts back to normal) . This does not happen when self containing samples out...

Re: Algoritm : new FM synth or new Player ?
How much do we reckon RS will sell Algoritm to Reason 10 and Reason 11 license holders for? Will they jack it up in price to try and make R+ seem more attractive a deal?

Re: ReSpire down to £64 reduced from £189
I don't do VSTs, so I was only interested in this as a budget very high quality synth in the rack.
Any reason not to get it for an RE-only setup?

Re: Reason 11 sample editor bug?
Again... Crossfade is not necessarily needed to reproduce it, it's just the easiest way to show the bug. Because with the crossfade button you get this bug immediately but it will sooner or later happen even without using crossfade as long as you use the loop function. If you guys worked with the S...

Re: Another Reason 11 bug?
Checked this in both Recon and R+ and I can't reproduce it at all. its easy to reproduce the issue. please try this. 1. open Reason with a empty song 2. load a NN-19 in the rack 3. load a sample from Reasons browser into the NN-19 4. click on edit sample, the sample editor should open 5. click on p...

Re: Reason 11 sample editor bug?
Have to agree to disagree, I can only get it to happen with crossfade on, and it clears itself for me when you toggle the loop on and off. Brian have you read what i wrote? Work a bit longer and deeper with samples and not testing it only for 5 minutes and you will see that it happens even without ...

ReSpire down to £64 reduced from £189
Just spotted this on the shop in the deals. Reduced massively until March 1st. Despite the shortcomings of the RE version, this looks like a total bargain to me.
Thought I'd share incase anyone missed it!

Re: Another Reason 11 bug?
I think there is another bug with Reason 11. Maybe someone can confirm. Somehow the sample editor is now linked wierdly to the browser audio preview. Load a sample into NN-19 or NN-XT and start Reasons sample editor, play the sample and when you now switch loop on and play with the loop points or s...

Re: Arpeggiator RPG-8 (Reason 5) playing each note with separate tempo
I'm just learning Reason and got a problem with making notes for Arpeggiator. It's too hard to pick the rate (no matter sync of free) and gate length in Arpeggiator needed to play all its notes in sequencer (without changing their length there) smoothly and in one rhythm (without tempo breaking). A...

Re: Has VST-support ruined Reason?
This is what I compare it to: How many great songs have been by some dude/lady sitting in a cabin with an acoustic guitar? And how many great songs were written by somebody running amok in a big music store, playing every instrument? This is genius, I really like this. I completely agree. I feel li...
