@joeyluck: You're right.

RRP not being multitimbral is another problem with RX1200, because you can't play samples in chromatic mode (MIDI channels 2-12). At least not in Reason 11. Has that changed in Reason 12?

And the sequencer isn't even the "magical" part of the 1200. It's the sound we are after, isn't it? SP1200 users won't agree with you. Google SP1200 swing . ;) But for me personally it's mostly the sound. Never needed groove templates and such to make my beats groove. Doesn't bother me one bit that...

Removed sequencer? Looks nice but a sequencer is always welcomed, especially in Reason.... Redrum style, popo it up, and play a saved sequence... That could be an opportunity for another RE developer. Reproduce the SP-1200 sequencer with its legendary swing. Don't frget to add a double tempo mode! ...

On the Inphonik site I don't see demo versions of the plugins, but Reason users should be able to demo the for 30 days, right?

IK has a really good plugin of the sound of the porta studio one, but this looks like real fun.

Tascam Porta One is a cool plugin, but it doesn't go as far into lofi territory as Portatron. And Portatron is an instrument, not just an effect. Indeed it looks like fun.

Reels is really good man. I'm sure it is, I'm just not sure I need another tape sim in addition to Mello-Fi, Chow Tape, Softube Tape, Dirty Tape, ReelBus, Satin, J37, Kramer Tape and maybe a couple of others I'm forgetting.
