Does anybody have a good way of achieving this? Delay taps syncing up with a rhythm where you have some strong swing?
Unless I'm missing it, there's no swing option on The Echo etc. I realise it would require some time stretching rather than a straight delay, but would be something useful, I think.

Re: Reason 12 rack plugin resolution in Ableton
That didn't work unfortunately. I have the graphics scaled to 125% in Windows, as I am using a 1440p monitor and everything is too small otherwise. Reason standalone and every other application seems to cope with this fine, RRP doesn't it seems. But was that option ("Auto-Scale Plugin Window") avai...

Reason 12 rack plugin resolution in Ableton
Hi,
R12 plug in seems slightly blurry compared to standalone. Does anybody know why that would be? Even the text is not as clear.

Re: R12+ subscription for existing owners.
Reason Studios doesn't sell 6 months and I've never seen support for reselling Reason+ subscriptions. I personally wouldn't buy from ebay. Or maybe check with support first. I already confirmed where it came from. Reason+ 6 month subscriptions were bundled with inta audio (m-audio) gear for a while...

Re: R12+ subscription for existing owners.
Nice, although £8.99 for 6 months is even better for now! Huh? That's 53.94 GBP for 6 months, which is equal to 67.75 USD for 6 months, vs. 99 USD for 12 months. Huh? £8.99 for 6 months is £8.99 for 6 months which is equivalent to $11.32 for 6 months Vs $99 for 12 months. Idk what you are on about,...

Re: R12+ subscription for existing owners.
ebay - £8.99 for 6 month R+ subscription. As far as I can see the only 6 month deal Reason have offered is as a bundle with some hardware, so assume someone selling those off. Seems legit? (I wouldn't discuss piracy, and only use legit software, but definitely up for finding legitimate deals seeing ...

Re: R12+ subscription for existing owners.
So just looking at pricing now, ignoring the Reason Studios website as it's overpriced. At Andrertons: Reason 12 full: £189 (wow - less than the upgrade price I am being offered by Reason Studios) Reason 12 upgrade: £169 Reason plus 1 year: £189 Based on this my best option is to buy R12 and sell my...

Re: R12+ subscription for existing owners.
so when "plus" goes on sale, I assume it's the annual price that is half price, and that is the same for everyone, not an upgrade/crossgrade discount?
Don't all the RE's with 11 suite come with R+ anyway?

R12+ subscription for existing owners.
I've owned and paid for almost every version of reason since v2.0 Currently on R11 suite. Is it true that if I wanted to subscribe to R12+ I have to pay the same price as someone who has never bought Reason? What about if I upgraded to R12 but later wanted to have the benefits of + subscription, is ...

Re: delay compensation
OK so stupidly I googled and read a bit after posting this. Polar is not even delay compensated within Reason standalone and or even internally within it's own routing of the dry signal. I assume the issue is specific to that device.

delay compensation
Hi, I'm using the reason Rack effect plugin in Live and it is not reporting delay compensation correctly. According to Ableton, it adding using 64 samples / 0.73ms latency. I am having to add around 27.5ms extra compensation manually to get the track to sync. The effects in the rack are: - Polar Dua...

Re: MIDI controller data not passed through to Reason Rack VST
It also doesnt transfer the name of the parameters to Ableton just a Number. It does, just doesn't do it reliably. Here is evidence of it working. para.JPG I dont know what happens if you change devices within that rack though. I guess it gets all mixed up. If you remove a device in the rack any ma...

Re: Recording with RRP in Ableton Live 10
The fact you say you "recorded what I do with it into a new audio track" makes me think you maybe haven't actually armed recording on the midi track with the RRP on it.

This works for me. Are you trying to record the automation into clips in session or onto a track in arrangement view btw?

Re: MIDI controller data not passed through to Reason Rack VST
OK, so it sounds like it has the advantage of using the track midi rather than the remote MIDI in Live, so I am not locking controls to those parameters. It's still unfortunately a bit of an inspiration-breaking workflow for me, if I have to: 1) load devices / patches into RRP 2) map parameters int...

Re: MIDI controller data not passed through to Reason Rack VST
The max device allows you to map standard midi messages directly to RRP parameters you have configured to be available In the RRP rack container. To save these mappings you would need to group these devices and save as an Ableton Rack. Once saved, this template can then be reloaded and used without...

Re: MIDI controller data not passed through to Reason Rack VST
I have contacted Reason Studios support. This is my message: When I create a track with Reason Rack Plugin VST within Ableton Live, and add a device to the rack, I can play the device with a midi controller keyboard; key presses, velocity, aftertouch, mod wheel and pitch bend data is received by the...

Re: MIDI controller data not passed through to Reason Rack VST
One workaround method is to use a Max device - https://maxforlive.com/library/device/2888/manual-midi-mapper. With this device you can map your standard midi mappings (not overrides) to Reason parameters. You can have multiple instances so you are not limited in the number of parameters you can map...

Re: MIDI controller data not passed through to Reason Rack VST
oh wait.. you are talking about using Reason standalone as a DAW there. No I'm fine with that. Basically the controller is fairly consistently mapped to volume , cutoff, res, ADSR etc for whatever track I have selected in the midi sequencer. Using the rack plugin, I have to use my mouse to adjust st...
