Re: New ReasonStudios Video Up Today
Its become a contention now, and I dont want to draw it all out, however as a supporter of RS over the years I do feel a bit duped with the suite thing. I jumped in day of release, my fault. It was all very vague and didnt state anywhere that the suite was just a bundle. It also never said the oppos...

Re: New ReasonStudios Video Up Today
Not to be greedy, but I wonder if such a device might be included in 11 suite packages... an update for suite users? Probably not.

Hey, I picked it up but not fully had time to explore it yet. I’m interested in using as a sampler. Can you explain what you meant by your comment please? Cheers!

Re: Black Rooster Audio Magnetite is free w/plug in collective
Ach Obelisk wont open in Reason due to it being a midi device, that sucks. Bitwig I go! Was really looking forward to messing with it in Reason. Have they said they will be working allowing them in future? VST midi out has been requested multiple times, but so far no response from Reason that they ...

Black Rooster Audio Magnetite is free w/plug in collective
Hello all, Just a heads up that if you have a Focusrite product registered you will find a liscense for the vst in your account. I also picked up Obelisk, a midi thing Im looking forward to trying, for free from last months giveaway too. In terms of Magnetite, ive always had my eye on it so was happ...

Re: What is your interest in and use of the RRP?
If I were considering migrating or occasionally using another DAW, RRP will allow me to access my Refills and REs. I've considered Live with Push for its workflow, and Studio One for better supporting the transport controls on my keyboard. Ableton with Push is the only reason I'd use another DAW at...

Re: What is your interest in and use of the RRP?
I own Bitwig and Maschine as well as 11 Suite. I honestly feel all things considered I have had value from every update. Ive updated every version on release day haha despite trying not to. But then, tinkering with DAWs is quite literally all I really do when not with fam or at work. I love the RRP ...

Getting Nektar p4 to work with Nektarine. Help Needed please
Hello all. I would like to use my Panorama P4 to control the Nektarine VST, making use of the mappings and screen. When I open the nektarine VST in Maschine the Panorama stays in Intenal Midi Mode. I have spent a while looking around online and on the Nektar help pages, but there is nothing on this....

Re: Reason Glitching with some VST
Toneboosters v3 plug ins give horrible high pitched glitch noises when you move the nobs on the gui. I have reproduced this on all three of my computers. It means I use Bitwig or Maschine most of the time as I cant have use Reel Bus without risking pericing glitches. Its ok when its running and i do...

Hello, Reason Rack works in Machine via Nektarine VST :) Apologies if this is known and already discussed - i did a search prior to posting. Has anyone else messed with this? What are people thoughts on applications, mappings and customisations? Im about to go experiment and I will update the post w...

Re: Is there anything superior to the Scream4 Tape in the VST world?
ReelBus 4 is very fairly priced and my personal favorite all things considered from demoing numerable tape plugins (Satin, Saturn(1), Ozone Stuff, TRacks, Waves, etc). For my needs ReelBus 4 is just amazing value and sounds beautiful. Good luck with it all!

Current Plugin Boutique Deals: WA Pump Bundle + Entropy EQ
Hello all, So I thought that Entropy EQ given away with purchases at PB just now looked ok. I had a look around the store for something cheap but of use and quality. I saw a WA bundle for £7 with some interesting looking plug ins; a 3 band transient shaper, a multiband ducker / lfo tool thing and fr...

Re: Thoughts on Static Cling Optic vs Span
Thanks for the responses. I like to mix and create with my ears but also enjoy visualsing all the sounds. After testing I can confrim that when you run a fx chain through Optic the analyser display lags and struggles when filtering, for example. I had an instance of Reason Drum Kits then Selig colou...

Thoughts on Static Cling Optic vs Span
Hello, So obv SPAN is free, which is awsome. I have it installed and like it, but ive always wanted something similar in the rack. I have tried a few of the other ones in the shop (signal etc) but recently I came across Optic. I like how it has several ins. It seems to do what span does really well,...

Hello Selig, I had logged in today to find some discussion and info on the Colour EQ so happy to see this video. I will read the manual when I have some time :) After demoing lots of vst eqs (the usual suspects, proq, tb pro audio ones etc) I decided i wanted to have one that would show in the rack....

Re: Is Nektar Panorama good for programming synths?
Nektar has released Nektarine, which is a vst wrapper availible for free. It claims to facilitate exactly what you are looking for, however i have yet to get it working smoothly, though I have had little time to set up and get my head around it. You can find the download on the Nektar site, in your ...

Reason Rack VST, BCA Patchwork & Maschine
Hello all, I just seen a post on FB showing how we can use the Rack VST in maschine using Blue Cat Audio's Patchwork vst. This is really exciting, but of course the BCA vst costs. If you happen to have all three you could be having a great time. Im tired of waiting on NI to implement vst 3 in Maschi...

Re: Can you rank the order of players that you use more often?
If a sequence of notes can't be played by my two hands on a piano, completely intentionally, I am not interested in hearing them. I certainly don't want any note I hear to be a surprise to me, or anyone else. I never play my instruments with any strict intent, over and above a feel for a groove. I ...

I was going to comment yesterday on this as the beginner comment triggered me haha, nothing personal to you, but its something I hear a lot and I think the other poster did a good job of adressing the idea a few comments back. I'd add to their point that I also think these notions of beginner plug i...

Loque is right. Especially on the benefits of a decent tagging system, I like Bitwigs browser and organisation options, and Maschines tagging works well enough.

Hello, I can say for me they do, and really well. I use R11 VST on near enough every chanel in Bitwig, and its absolutely brilliant.
