I hate this "feature" in Reason too after spending more time in Ableton and realizing how crucial it is to consistent/fast workflow. Clicking everytime "stay on top" is cumbersome. It should have an option somewhere to keep all plugin windows on top unless defined otherwise.

Just updated Reason to latest version and it begged me installing Companion. I did. Now everytime I open Reason another window of Companion opens. How to disable it? Uninstall? A bit out of the loop here.

I had Axiom keyboard, and also got the warning about this preset "thingy". Basically if your keyboard has keys bellow LCD screen, then in that screen choose the correct preset mode in order for Reason to map stuff correctly. Yes, Reason stock EQ is dated, by a lot. Despite this I still use it pretty much on every track and bring up Q3 when I need that extra push over the cliff.
