Re: Is Reason Studios falling apart?
Why Reason+ is necessarily something negative ? I subscribed to many editors (Output Arcade, Plugin Alliance,...) on a monthly basis, though not to Reason+ because no needs so far, and they are all with growth momentum with happy users. Reason is still an extraordinary creative tool, even more now t...

Re: Reason 12 has arrived
Either I am very ignorant, or the Apple are the standard of the musicians, and right now the M1 are the standard of Apple computers. The logical rule of three is that if Reasonstudios doesn't fix this, it will be suicide for the brand. Few things: 1. Apple's M1 platform is not "the standard" IMHO -...

This is a bargain, I found out it's actually one of the rare Eq I use with a "wow" effect, need to be careful though, very sensible but it can reshape your sound on a very efficient wayhurricane wrote: ↑18 Nov 2019Eiosis have their fantasticly sophisticated Air EQ on sale for $49: https://www.eiosis.com/aireq

Polystep is scale aware, which is a big +
Polystep is much more powerful to my taste

Re: Who is buying reason 11 tomorrow
This version's definitely a pass for me. I want Reason to be a better host, not to learn another DAW. When they announced the suite, I trialed all the things I had never tried before, to assess their value. Complex-1 is great, but can't compete with VCV. Umpfes are pretty useless to me. Layers are ...

Re: Announcing Reason 11
This is not a market expansion, but a strategy to sell only reason studio instruments. Exactly, Europa was released to test the concept of AU/VST on top of RE, I don't know if they sold a lot of Europa aside of RE, but they probably realized that it would be better to build a AU/VST container/wrapp...

Re: Announcing Reason 11
Stupid question may be but why didn't they integrate Recycle in a recent Reason update ?? You can already sample internally and bounce to track, why one would not be able to create Rex on the fly ? This would also boost the rex popularity.

Re: Suddenly I don't feel bad for buying REs anymore :)
Reason 11 announcement is great news for RE developpers i guess (the ones who develop creative and clever plugins only for RE format) Why a developer would invest in a RE format encapsulated in a VST container while he could develop directly the VST which can be used universally even in Reason ?? A...

Re: Announcing Reason 11
It seems that the profitability of RE was not really there for companies like Uh-e, Softube, Synapse...who have stopped their developments even before VST was introduced. It's already complex and expensive to develop AU, VST and AAX...Today only small or one guy companies are still developing RE on ...

Re: Announcing Reason 11
On top of Reason and Logic, I use Korg Gadget and all gadgets are available as VST or AU in any DAW, at first it sounds excellent, but actually I never use them externally, I prefer to stay in the (very simple) native Korg Gadget sequencer, the fun is there, and then to render each track to remix in...
