Am I dumb or can I not get to the shop from the main page anymore?

When I go to www.reasonstudios.com I only see stuff about Reason+ and such and cannot go to the shop. I need to google for it. Which I find super weird and kinda annoying.

Am I just missing the button? Or did they remove it?

Re: Pitch Edit Bug?

Did you read how many people have put in a whole load of their time and effort without any result? I know. My bug was so small, though, that I was surprised they decided to fix it. This bug is so much more severe. I believe that my bug report including a short video to quickly explain the issue cle...

Re: Pitch Edit Bug?

Speaking for myself there’s no bitterness. I’ve accepted it and moved in with my life. But read the threads, ask the people. The truth is out there. I guess you had a small victory and that’s great. I hope we see more with the implementation of the ongoing Beta. I've read the threads, I've been her...

Funnily enough, I've run into this a few times and have just now created a video and .reason file which I will send to support. I really think this should be fixed. It is so irritating.

Re: Will there not be a Reason 12? Time for subscription?

yes, and we’ve been doing that since the original PUF, and the vast majority of time we have, and will likely continue to get it wrong. Just wanted to say that I agree with you. I feel like the discussions in this forum are always the same. People who are fed up with the direction of Reason are pos...

Re: Reason Studios has closed all of my tickets without solutions

Just checked and they did the same with mine. I find this infuriating. It seems really dishonest. If they just said "Look, we've received your ticket but we don't have the time to fix this bug, sorry!" I would understand. I wouldn't be happy but I would understand. Closing them without saying anythi...

What versions are affected?
V11?
V10.4?
V9.5?

It's this a RRP bug as well?
I don't know, I can only speak for the latest version of Reason 11 but I would assume this is also the case for the RRP and 10.4, maybe not 9.5 if it has something to do with the audio engine rework.

Re: PSA Bug: Latency compensation doesn't work when exporting at different sample rate

Thanks for sharing. Really good find - I have been making sure to render at the same rate as my preferences for a while now purely because with anything else it seems to force a re-calculation before it starts rendering, which is just a huuuge waste of time. But if it's affecting PDC as well then t...

Re: PSA Bug: Latency compensation doesn't work when exporting at different sample rate

To everyone: Here's a file that you can use to test. If you don't have Ozone use anything else that introduces latency but doesn't completely mess up the impulse (like a filter). I am at 44.1 and with 3 instances of Ozone with these settings I get a latency of 9,087 samples. During playback everythi...

PSA Bug: Latency compensation doesn't work when exporting at different sample rate

Since Reason Studios hasn't responded to my ticket about it I thought I should at least let you guys know: If you work on a track and export at a different sample rate than your driver is set to the latency compensation will not work. I guess it tries to render at the specified sample rate but uses ...

Right...tried plugging in the old DT770s and the volume straightened itself out across the board. I'm figuring you might be right about my room and my monitors. There's something weird going on in any case. IIRC Ethan Winer has a video where he mentions that it's expected for untreated rooms to hav...

Re: What's wrong with the pitch shift and timestretch algorithms?

that sounds like a bug Reason Studios would (I hope) want know about. I’d submit an issue to them to get them to look into it. Yeah, probably. It does not happen often but it is unsettling to be in constant fear that something other than the thing I edit has changed. I need to make something that's...

Well, maybe you mean, that the stretching algoritms decide where your slices are and its difficult to make the slice at a specific position?
That's not the issue. The issue is that there are artifacts appearing on notes I haven't edited and that have nothing to do with the section I did edit.

What's wrong with the pitch shift and timestretch algorithms?

I swear, especially with pitch shift, that the algorithm not only changes the relevant parts. I.e.: for pitch shifting: the note and maybe adjacent notes if there is some kind of transition (I had it mess up something completely unrelated that was 10 seconds later in that clip) for time stretching: ...

Re: pc maintanance

You need to use punctuation, man, this is a mess to read. PC optimization is largely a scam. The software says it "fixes" stuff when in reality the OS doesn't care about a few orphan registry entries or temporary files. Just keep your autostart clean and you're good. Defrag, if you're using an HDD a...

Re: Idea; ReTracker! Or maybe TrackRe?

Trackers were the "DAWs" in the 80ies on home computers like Atari ST, Amiga and even C64 (?) where you could sequence a song with samples or sound chip. I assume the name came from 3, 4 or more tracks aligned vertically. Each track is kind of a voice. On each track you could enter notes that trigg...
