Grid Tonnetz - Isomorphic toolkit for the Grid64P0 Player

https://public-files.gumroad.com/ndoclco4r68sifz1i5vt5eml0cch Hi, if you use the Reason DAW with a grid controller and the Grid64P0 Player from Retouch Control, you may be interested in this Tonnetz-inspired isomorphic layout Grid64P0 patch in which all chord types keep a consistent shape whatever ...

v2.0 Adds the Infinity Mode, a Baber Pole Effect Hi, there seems to be a problem with the 2.0.4 update recently released the shop, it is marked as free in the rack extensions list, but on the product page there is a non functional purchase button instead of the usual free update button. Re: Tonicmint ScaleMatrix in the shop.

Aaah, I tried again and found that I forgot to mention one important detail: you have to switch on one of the options in the 'roots' column of ScaleMatrix. Aaah, now I understand why we had different results, you were talking about the additional root notes, not the main chord one. That indeed does...

Re: Tonicmint ScaleMatrix in the shop.

I found another workaround which seems to work and is REALLY simple: Just drop a CVPT under ScaleMatrix and connect the first CV output to Bassline Generator and the first gate-out to the bass instrument. This gives the root-note, even when using inversions in ScaleMatrix. Being very interested in ...

Re: Tonicmint ScaleMatrix in the shop.

I know things like that are possible, I used Reaper for over a decade, and it is possible there. But the workflow to do things like that are miles away from Reason, where you just plug a cable between two devices, and you're done. Totally agree with that, that's why I don't use such a method but on...

Re: Tonicmint ScaleMatrix in the shop.

Maybe you could also try this as another workaround. I wrote it while Vil was writing his, he was faster than me but here it is anyway. Create a second ScaleMatrix above your bass instrument, copy-paste the original's patch and deactivate all notes but the root. Optionally, deactivate the root note ...

Re: Request to tonicmint - octave consolidator player RE

Im interested, because i could never solve the zero problem. the voice output in the thor is bipolar and the main difficulty is that zero (note off) will also be a note (C -2) You cannot solve this problem because it doesn't exist. The zero (Note off) you're writing about is a velocity CV value and...

Re: Europa stock wavetable location?

In fact, there are no stock wavetables included as audio files in Europa. Even if this synth can load user wavetables, the factory ones are generated in real time from mathematical formulas, increasing the synth's waveshape manipulation capabilities. For those how know Serum, this could be compared ...

Re: Enlightenspeed LaunchEon in the shop + new bundles!

OK, first up, what is a Note Layout? Is this like a codec which is native to the Launchpad hardware? If yes, is this something I could realistically make myself? I just mean, is it possible? Don't worry if it's difficult to do, I have some chops when it comes to tech stuff :D I was of the belief th...

Re: Enlightenspeed LaunchEon in the shop + new bundles!

Remote codecs are much easier to do than setting up a note input solution, but I personally prefer that way of doing it, as it can work for more people. I’ll do both if possible, but the “if” is important there. Doing both would certainly be the best option, if possible. While Remote Codecs would a...

Re: Enlightenspeed LaunchEon in the shop + new bundles!

Could the same made be possible with the 8 x 8 pattern radio buttons on each scene page, allowing 64 MIDI notes to activate the 64 corresponding buttons, and turning off the pattern Player row if an already active radio button receives its MIDI note. By doing this, LaunchEon could be easily control...

The NoteSet player might be able to do what you want: https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack-extension/noteset-corrector-filter/ You need to load the midi into an instrument track and use something like Player Tap to route the midi into NoteSet. https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack-extension/cv...

This is what I would do with Blamsoft Breakout, and it will give you up to 12 slave instruments.
Challism, you seem to be sending PolyCV to CVPT in this patch. Are you sure it can receive the Blamsoft protocol ?

Re: Chord SQ from Retouch

Yes, that's what I wasn't sure to remember correctly; it returns to the root position, but... one octave lower, witch contradicts this point: However, because in ChordSQ the root note for each chord is fixed once chosen by the user, the "inversions" were implemented by moving the other notes in the ...

Besides the online storage why don´t you simply get a NAS all your computers have access to, so you wouldn´t have to multiply across.

EDIT: sry, didn´t finish reading :-D

Wouldn't a 3rd inversion for a triad just be a return to the 1 3 5 formation (ie, full circle)?
One could say so, but IIRC that's not exactly what happens... ;)

Re: Gate to Trigger converter RE?

Depending on the response of the device you want to trigger, you may still have the problem even with a trigger. A trigger is simply a gate with a very short gate time. It necessarily has to go 'low' after it has gone 'high' - if not, it can't go 'high' again. Exactly, that's why I suggested the ri...
