Re: mark the interesting spots in doodling sounds
Yes this is what I do listening afterwards as well. But sometimes I want to record long sessions and make some quick marks for interesting points during recording without thinking to much, just hit a button and continue. Ah.. but that brings up another gripe (one of my personal favs)...the zoom fun...

Re: mark the interesting spots in doodling sounds
What i do is i use the razor tool while listening back and make a cut at the start and end of good bits thus using it as a sort of marker system. Then i drag them to a new lane and add a label. Yes this is what I do listening afterwards as well. But sometimes I want to record long sessions and make...

Re: mark the interesting spots in doodling sounds
Of course markers would be best, but as a workaround when blocks aren't working you could just record midi: For instance, hit a C1 for beginning maker and let's say A1 for end... D. Yes, I was thinking that, but I want to use the midi controller in the session. Now I am looking if I can set up a wa...

mark the interesting spots in doodling sounds
Sometimes I like to just turn knobs and record the audio.
If you do the same and have a nice way to mark the interesting parts while recording, I like to hear.

Re: How about a community refill project for wavetables?
On the Blamsoft website there is a good tut on this matter for Expanse. https://blamsoft.com/tutorials/expanse-creating-wavetables/ And for Europe the same I think, I'm totally not an expert but in the Reason 10 manual (page 715) for Europe as well the (multiple of 2048 sample rule: If the sample le...

Re: MORE generative RE’s/Players, not less, please!!!
Just one request, could you allow delay times shorter than 10ms please? Sure I can probably do that. What sort of applications are you needing sub 10ms delays for if you don't mind me asking? I got Delta in the sale and I'm enjoying it! I was wondering the same about the delay node. I try to make a...

Re: To Zero or not to Zero
Hmm I'm in doubt. I like Zero and the sounddesign possibilities. Two things though are holding me back. Most important: no cv inputs for the matrix. I know the Matrix per operator can be modulated, but I want to be able to modulate each on its own. So to store those modulation I have to record in t...

Re: Favorite Reverb Device For Extremes?
surprised no one’s really mentioned any VSTs—I’m curious what great VST reverbs are out there that fit the bill. I can add one... Native Instruments’ Raum. really flexible, sounds awesome, and you can do some super crazy stuff with it, including ridiculously long tails—possibly infinite. and yeah, ...

Man, it's been so long since I made that archive that I actually have almost no clue what's in it... I hope it's good! I read this yesterday and thought... blimey I used to use ZERO loads... and used to love it. Well - I booted it up again and created myself an FM bassline. Here's the result... hot...

Re: To Zero or not to Zero
In my opinion the very first loaded preset (calls Alpha Trance AZ) successfully shows enough special character of this synth, especially in low octaves. Especially if disable delay and reverb (though reverb pretty good here). You can even disable unison (set to minimum voices and detune knobs) but ...

Re: To Zero or not to Zero
Yes, quite some possibilities, I guess I will spend the final maymadness days with it to feel if it's gonna connect with me. Thanks all for the viewpoints! if you're interested, I made a refill for Zero a few years ago, the sound examples are IMHO a pretty good overview of the type of sounds you ca...

Re: To Zero or not to Zero
Greetings fellow dutchie (probably?), Yep dutch it is! well there are 4 assignable CV inputs, and every operator has an individual volume, mod, pitch envelope so for a lot of modulations you may be able to find a workaround. There's also a volume cv in on the back, and an amp env rate destination i...

Re: Another Layers bug
I think such a list should be kept (and updated) with the first post acting as the master list, with reports and discussion in the following threads. Very similar to the way the "Free RE's" list is kept. This will help keep it the listed items very easy to find/users won't have to peruse the entire...

Is there a chance a device will going into sale later during the may madness? ( I'm looking at Pump..) Re: Screw it...I’ll start it. May Madness 2020
I don't typically use a lot of plugins/RE's. I started getting into the habit of buying some during the May Madness sale and as a result started using McDSP EQ's in several places when certain instruments needed to be tamed in the mix. And then I realized these RE's are buggy. I emailed McDSP a yea...

Re: Autosub by Forgotten Clank Studios now in the shop!
I found a little bug: When playing the autosub with the cv-gate and cv-note (for example with a matrix), the octave knob doesn't respond anymore. Not sure if that's universally considered a bug. I find it more logical for the octave knob to only modify the MIDI notes, same with semi and fine but ot...
