Re: Static Cling - AutoLatch MIDI Gate (Intro Sale!)

I like it as well! A small improvement for me would be with the automation lane, especially of the manual sequence index. In the current version the values 0, 7, 13, 20, 27, 33 .. until 100 representing step 1-16. If it's possible it would be nice to see 1-16 instead 0-100 in 16 intervals. e: interr...

Parcec +5db peaks on reset device FM noise

On a reset device I get +5 peaks using FM noise. Is this intended?

Re: problem/possible bug with Drum Sequencer Player

edit 2: ok i fixed it by just deleting the automation clip and repainting the exact same thing. behaviour is normal now. still something RS should look into. i feel like this came from enlarging the clip by grabbing the left corner and dragging left. thx for the answers. Re: Sequences from Robotic Bean - 1.3 is out!

Does note length affect ratchets too, i.e. 6x ratchet with 50% note length gives you 3 triggers and then pause? Can you do it the opposite way, pause and then 3 triggers? If, not, then I would request a note slide/delay function. So, you can take a 1/8th note, set the slide to 50% and get a 1/16 pa...

Re: Is it possible to get 1/5 with the PSQ-1684 ?

Thanks for your thoughts, I like those challenges as well. But this will give me 5/4. But if Euclid is involved, than better just dial in 1/5 in the Euclid directly (: The best way still only in PSQ I think is with my first set up. It's close (enough). With rate at 1/8T, speed at 58 div 1 the maxim...

Re: Is it possible to get 1/5 with the PSQ-1684 ?

Is there some way to clock the PSQ-1684 with external CV pulses? I have the device but I still have no idea how it works! If that's the case, then you could feed it pulses from Euclid Rhythm Generator, which has a polyrhythmic mode that includes 1/5 resolution. Ah yes, the Euclid has a perfec...

Re: Is it possible to get 1/5 with the PSQ-1684 ?

Yes..... but you are going about this the wrong way. Search for the 'psq appreciation thread' on reasontalk ..probably the greatest thread ever made on the forum ....its explained there. Firstly your not going to arrive at 1/5 in an orthadox manner but theres a workaround for creating all values in...

Re: Is it possible to get 1/5 with the PSQ-1684 ?

There is the option of 5/4 time in the QSP rate knob. Maybe with that rate setting you can get it right using pulse 1's speed knob. Also, have you tried playing with the tempo of the song? That might help you, too. I sometimes mess with the tempo of the song if the device I'm using doesn't offer a ...

Is it possible to get 1/5 with the PSQ-1684 ?

I'm trying to get 1/5 measure out of the PSQ and getting close with the pulse speed but not perfect. For example those I can get: rate 1/8T. Pulse speed 96 will play 1/3 (because 1/12 * 96/24 = 1/3) Pulse speed 48 will play 1/6 Pulse speed 32 will play 1/9 But 1/5, 1/7, 1/11, 1/13, 1/15 and so on I ...

Re: Note latch?

I know I can do that with Sequences. Not sure you get my use case though. I don't care about transposing notes and while infinite is good, I want to be able to open a gate with a key press and leave it open until that key is pressed again. So in my key mapped combinator I can have for e.g.. a sampl...

Re: Note latch?

heck i just realised we can do this very easily for multiple voices with kompulsion Lol OP, you mentioned you have Sequences, it's way easier to tie one note to its self and set transpose to key. Make the length short and the rate and speed as fast as possible in the Sequences,, so it reacts quickl...

Re: How to do this in Reason

Hmmmm, I've got gate output from Kong into Thor routing its gate to an envelope, then routing that envlope out cv1 output which controls the volume of a combinator patch that has 16th note snare always running. Almost there.... sounds a bit off. You can do this with the step sequencer in Thor. 1. F...

I can get two bars worth out of Sequences player on one shot mode. It's not long enough for my needs though I want infinite! I'm not sure how to do that.

Hi Pete,

press "tab". Route the "gate out" of the pads with an cv cable into lets say "gate in" of another Kong.
