Is it possible to load a Reason 4 file into Reason 12? AFAIK, it should be possible. Then you could check this in a scientific way: 1. Create a song in Reason 4 2. Export the song as a mixdown from Reason 4 3. Open the Reason 4 project file in Reason 10/11/12 (whatever you consider "modern Reason") ...

I am a little bit disappointed that Nektartech doesn't give the AURA the same level of Reason integration, but that is just due to my personal situation using this device with Reason.

Same here, Reason 12 on Windows 11 runs good.

The core of Windows 11 is still really close to Windows 10, so no huge technical changes here.

Thank you, but I don't think reinstalling Sampletank would help - it is Reason12 that crashes, not the VSTi (all text-labels disappear)

Everything is automatable in Ableton just like that! Move a knob and it shows up in the channel automations! You can also use the FX version of the Rack VST to apply any Reason effects anywhere in your chain.

I have a question about the new versions:

In the "Reason 11 Suite" version, there are some rack extensions mentioned which I already have with my version 10.x
(Radical Keys, Drum Sequencer).

If I decide to upgrade to Reason 11 "only" - do I lose access to these extensions?
