Re: Audio buffer and crackling
Thanks for all your answers. Sometimes it helps telling other people to find the issue. My mainboard comes with a software called MSI Dragon Center where you can tweak CPU profiles, fan speeds etc. For some reason, this must have interfered with the energy options of windows, or, honestly, I don't k...

Audio buffer and crackling
Hi, After my old interface has died (15+ years old with firewire), I decided to not only buy a new interface, but also a new system. Motu Ultralight AVB (plugged in via USB) i7-10700K 32gb RAM NVME SSD Win 10 Now, with the standard buffer size of 128 in the Motu configuration, I get crackling all ov...

Re: Help us make Reason better, take a short survey!
there are two surveys, one that we receive by email and which at the end gives a 15% promo code and the MattiasHG survey which are two different surveys I did the one I got via email and now looked into the link posted in this thread and indeed, they are quite different surveys. I actually think th...

Re: Will there not be a Reason 12? Time for subscription?
If future reason versions are subscription only, I would never give them a single cent anymore.
(I am posting this not to repeat what everyone already said, but I think it is important that enough people give their opinion on this, in case anyone of RS will read here)

Re: Ways of inserting (midi) notes
Music score editors have this, e.g. finale https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YC9O_cd8tmo goto 2:20 (maybe not the best video) Cubase has something very close to this, it is called step input https://steinberg.help/cubase_pro_artist/v9/en/cubase_nuendo/topics/midi_editors/midi_editors_step_input_t.html...

Re: Ways of inserting (midi) notes
Thanks for your answer. I think you may have misunderstood me, since the word "keyboard" is a little bit overloaded. I meant pressing and holding down keys on a piano/midi keyboard (the thing with black and white keys) to select the pitch and then the note length via the computer keyboard. I never u...

Ways of inserting (midi) notes
Hi, Does reason offer any note drawing/inserting methods except from recording or using the pencil tool? For example, most music notation software have the option to enter notes by pressing keys on the keyboard for the inteded pitch and then a number on the computer keyboard for the corresponding no...

- midi clock to multiple devices
- better remote support (for the sequencer). For example, "record arm" is not remotable!

Re: Reason SSL Mixer Hardware Controller
awesome project. Just two comments: Are you aware of the fact that the remote protocol of reason is very limited? For example, the "seq" and "rack" buttons in the mixer cannot be mapped to a remote. Or even record enable is not available (which is very very very strange) I do not understand why the...
