Re: Do you think reason will ever get a better sampler?

Yeah, I agree with a lot on this thread... NNXT is awesome, but it does need: - Better sample editor, especially with non-destructive crossfades and the ability to add time and/or to silence certain sections of a sample - Someone mentioned the start time knob only adjusts within the first second of ...

Re: What features are REALLY necessary for Reason 11

Audio clip crossfades, but done right so that:
a) implement automatically when dragging clips to overlap
b) you can choose the crossfade curve/shape
c) comping for each individual clip is unaffected (clips aren't automatically joined)

Re: Crossfading Audio In Reason?

All suggestions seem to be tedious workarounds. I can't remember *which* one, but I once had a DAW where I got instant (and visual) crossfades while dragging audio clips over each other in the same row. Well, that's quick and easy! Pretty sure Vegas, Pro Tools, and Audition all do this. Sent from m...

Re: HELP!!!! Notes changing key by themselves

I'm guessing this is unlikely, but do you have any CV patched to any 'pitch' or 'note' inputs anywhere in your rack?

Re: Record vocal while monitoring with effects, with no latency

I haven't tried this, but I've heard the Universal Audio interfaces have real-time effects built into them for zero-latency effects monitoring - I think exactly what you're looking for.

Re: Anyone Update Mac OS to Mojave yet?

Been using Reason on Mojave since Nov. No problems for me, but I also don't use a ton of VST. Mostly RE and a lot of Audio Tracks.

Re: Categorize by Type or by RE name

I agree this is annoying. That's why nowadays I always use the "Favorite list" function. You should too if you don't. Then you can make your own categories: Compressors, Synths, EQs etc. This has made things so much better. Agree that this is a way to do it and a good way, but it takes _time_. If a...

Agree. This would be cool.

Would having a 'global' remote overrides set resolve this problem?

Re: Reason Has Gone Down

I'd recommend going forward that no one uses internet verification as their primary verification method. If authorizing via computer or ignition key, the worst case scenario for subscription users is to have to replace devices if on a tight deadline. Non subscription users are pretty much unaffecte...

Tap tempo keyboard shortcut?

Anyone know if there's a 'tap tempo' keyboard shortcut? Using the mouse buttons to do that is a little unwieldy (requires visual feedback instead of simply finding a button and pressing it). I'm assuming it can be set up with an external (MIDI) keyboard, I just didn't know if it was possible with th...
