Objekt really has a lot of potential, but it's super hard to program.
Look at how many Objekt refills there are in the shop (hint, zero)

Europa VST could have worked but it was probably overpriced for what it is.
If they'd shipped it out at something like $50 it might have competed well against stuff like Synthmaster , rather than go head to head with the big dogs like Serum.

Is Drum Sequencer allowed? Combinator? What about the Reason sequencer?

Here's my entry. Seven instances of Dice were used, plus drums. I used presets and tweaked them, plus utilized a fair bit of modulation (it was so nice to have all those lovely CV inputs on the back)

Individual scroll would be useful.
So would having application zoom assignable to mouse wheel (plus a modifier like Shift or something)
Zoom way out to patch cables and then zoom straight back out to keep working on the synths.

No, they seem to have disabled that possibility.

Pentatonic, either major or minor is a very "safe" way to play with those added 5th patches, because you minimise any tones added outside of those scales.

I own a 1st and 3rd gen. I think maybe there's some nice feature improvements but latency isn't noticeably better.

Steinberg actually do advertise third party synths/libraries for their Halion platform. I've seen this regularly on Facebook.
Ableton does similar.
I recall Reason doing this too but I didn't see anything when checking just now.

They were asking $150 for Europa Vst which is kind of insane. Sure it's a nice synth but pretty shallow compared to Serum. Serum, for a similar price which has way more features and regular updates over the years vs Europa with I believe it's one update (adding wavetable loading) I'd say in the Vst...
