Re: Ljekio's Feature Suggestions
Saving Remote Override Mapping- (got it) Saving Remote Override Mapping to text file or remotemap file. Can you clarify this one for me? My understanding is that any changes to Remote mapping had to be edited manually in the remote file, via text file. Are you saying that Reason can export a new re...

Re: So, Reason Studios wants feedback.
Just yesterday I was thinking to myself that, since the introduction of players, it seems a major focus has been put on visual design, to the detriment of functionality. I'll be working with something and think, "That's weird, why wouldn't they have added this or that functionality to such and such....

Re: How would you rate the R12 upgrade? (Upgraders and R+ subscribers only)
I give it a 4. I signed up for the free 7 days of Reason+(couldn't find the demo download link...imagine that). Companion was barely functional on my machine for some reason. It kept locking up/crashing when trying to update REs to Hi-res. I never did get them all updated. I have zero interest in so...

More styles for Combinator 2.0 - November Most of us spend too much time choosing the right button or knob to make our Combinators really pop. They make the Combinator so much more fun, and we want to have an even broader selection. And my personal testing shows that good looking Combinators sound ...

Re: Is your online behavior and the way you interact with other people different to your behavior in real life?
I'd like to add that part of the issue seems to be the matter of formality when interacting online. I have always approached it as if I was talking to a close friend. This, naturally, assumes familiarity and understanding that one perhaps shouldn't assume. That's where I've run into trouble with it,...

Re: Combinator 2 and remote maps (hardware fun)
Now that I have my coveted Combinator 2, my next eternal wish will be a total overhaul of Remote implementation. One that goes as far as having it's own dedicated application, complete with an easily programmable UI for us folks whose eyes glaze over at the prospect of having to do it in the context...

Re: velocity to modwheel
You can do this with Love One's MIDI Compressor Player RE inside of Combinator. I would imagine you could also do it with Andrew Russell's Velocity Curve, Lectric Panda's UTL Modifier(free, btw), and Static Cling's Delta. May even be others.

Re: Reason 12 in 5 days. Excited ?
I'm pretty darn excited. I've sat and watched a lot of stuff come along that I have no interest in- Blocks, VST integration, Beatmap(and countless other goofy toys), Hi-res, etc. Finally, MY squeaky wheel is getting the grease. I'm getting a new Combinator. Man, I hope they don't mess it up with the...

Re: Aggregate Music System 1.0.0 - on Sale now!
I've got it on trial, been playing with it for a few hours First thoughts: amazing bit of gear, and while I'm still way down at the bottom of the learning curve, I can see that a few more hours flipping between the device and the manual will really open things up That said, it seems way too complic...

Skrock Morningstar currently on sale for $25
Just a heads-up. I would've had no idea if I hadn't randomly checked the shop. It should also be mentioned that many other Skrock items are on sale as well.

I've said it before, Panda is Reason's spirit animal. He's chosen to stay down in the mines that Props abandoned years ago, because he knows that's where the most powerful resources of creativity and inspiration are uncovered.

Re: tools or toys?
RS would most likely only provide basic maps for only the built-in devices (and perhaps their own REs). So instead of creating maps I think a proper universal graphical map creation tool would be the better option as with such a tool we would be able to customise the maps to our own liking (and als...

Re: tools or toys?
The amount of $70 Players in particular is getting ridiculous. There's loads of overlap in them. It'd be so much better to just have less Players but more fully featured, and charge a small upgrade fee as major versions are released. Very happy RS have opted to go with Combi 2. Funny, I had roughly...

Re: Feature Requests - an update
I think the Combinator is one of the strongest elements Reason has going for it. There's so much that the Combinator can do, even in its current form. If they get this upgrade right, it will most definitely enhance workflow.

I'm afraid to say you're right. They add quantizing of audio with the slice edit and don't add transient time displays or transient sensitivity. They update the mixer in 7 and didn't add more sends, ganged faders, PDC (which is very needed for Parallel Processing which was added in that version) or...

Plenty. :puf_bigsmile: complex.png You can't remote override in most RE's custom screen area which is what those virtual front panel cables are. You need to be in main (non cable) view in Complex-1. Aha. Thank you so much, lowtom! I never would've thought that switching 'show cables' on/off would c...

Re: Complex-1 Remote Overrides puzzler
All of them. You have to do it by making a remote map. Also if you want an automation lane you can't right click or act click a control, yiu have to choose it from the drop down in the sequencer. Complex still rools though Yes, but the question wasn't "how many controls are mappable or automatable"...

Re: Scales and Chords plays wrong notes?
I've come up against diatonic oddities in most of the scale-based Players. I've spent hours trying to build player-based chains to properly modulate, with poor results accross the board. You always end up with anomalies. I think it's due to the fact that no one has really dealt with programming for ...

I've said it before, Spectra is the only instrument in the shop that ever made me say, "that's more synth than I know what to do with." That thing was ahead of its time. Your offering is highly appreciated!
