Can we get a hotkey to bypass whatever device is in focus?
Those bypass switches are a pain to work with. I just want to hit CTRL+B (or whatever) and have that toggle bypass on the device in focus. Or an option in the 'additional remote mapping' list so i can assign a button to this on a midi controller, without having to remap it every time I want to level...

Mines just a big dining table picked up second hand from the classifieds. Nice and solid and lost of space for all my toys. Paid 100 bucks for it. Thinking about drilling a couple of holes in it to slide my speaker stands into.

Re: Scales & Chords Vs Scaler 2....
Is there a player device that can do key detection similar to how Scaler does? Can Delta do this? edit: to answer your question jaeproduced there are lots of others including Captain Chords and Player devices like Scale Matrix and Chordline to name a few. Which is best will depend on your use case a...

Re: What on earth is this? (Reason crash)
Don't mean to bump this thread but didn't want to let this go without thanking you both for helping. To answer your questions, there were many multiple VSTs and REs running at the time of the crash, but I haven't been able to recreate the issue so I really can't know exactly what caused it. I'm chal...

Re: Drag Instruments, track order?
One thing to remember is that the order of your tracks/devices is not synchronised in all three views. If you get your sequencer tracks in the order you want, you’ll need to select them all, right click and choose “sort selected device groups”. This will then carry the order over to the rack and th...

Re: Drag Instruments, track order?
Just click and drag! If your talking about the sequencer there is a little grey bar on the left of the track that is a handle to drag tracks around and re-arrange them. If you're talking about the rack you'll need to click and drag any empty space on the device and drag that (anywhere there are no k...

It is not. A reputable cracking team claimed it was but provided no evidence.

Thank you for taking the time to explain this. I will take your advice and focus on learning just one synth for a while. I really appreciate ReasonTalk as a whole. How lucky we are to have such a community.

Re: Synth vs. Rompler The Low down Pros & Cons
Synths are great because that invite more creativity once you are past the learning curve, once you understand the universal language of synthesis, each synth is a playground of ideas Would you happen to know where to point someone looking to learn the 'universal language of synthesis' as you put i...

Are modern day midrange audio interfaces on par with higher end gear of yesteryear?
Probably about 10 years ago(?) I upgraded my budget entry level Edirol UA-25 audio interface to an upper-midrange, lower-highend (at the time) RME Fireface 800. Probably no surprise to anyone here but the difference in quality wow'd me. With technology improving and price points dropping over the la...

What would YOU blow $300 on in your studio?
Alright you've just been handed $300 and you can only spend it on something for your studio. Be it headphones, drum sticks, desk chair, VSTs, whatever.
What would YOU spend it on if you had $300 to blow?

Re: Is This Condenser Mic Any Good?
Nothing wrong with those specs, but that doesn't mean the mic sounds any good. Doesn't mean it sounds bad either. Specs don't really paint much of a picture of what a microphone sounds like. What's the make and model of the mic you're looking at?

Re: Be honest: What were you 100% sure would be in V11 but didn't make the cut?
The nominal price of $129 pays for that, not for vast sweeping changes. It's just too cheap to fund anything more than that. Reaper has a 2 man team and updates basically weekly with features out the wazoo. And it cost next to nothing, I love reason and will continue to use it as my only DAW, but I...

Re: Reason 10 $100 Off, This mean Reason 11 by end of April ;)
I actually think the future of reason is quite bright! It's amazing software as it is and if recent efforts tell us anything it's that they're already focusing on things like work flow and performance.
Clip gain on individual slices in the comp editor is about all I'd ask for.

AutoTheory - Can it print to MIDI?
Right, so in AutoTheory, I've managed to make a nice chord progression. Cool, so far so good. Now what I'm trying to do is adjust the velocity of each note in a chord individually. Possible? I assumed I would be able to print the output of AutoTheory to MIDI and adjust the chords manually in the seq...
