Re: Ignition Key bites the dust on Mac - with no plans to fix
U-he etc...I've wondered the same thing. It is simple. This is a fight that you can't win as a developer. If there is someone who doesn't want to pay for your product then he will find a way to not pay for it. Always. As a developer you can try to make this as hard as possible but every new counter...

Re: Reason updates (11.3.7 / 11.3.8) and Reason+
So on topic again: What happens if Reason Studios get shut down? it won’t. people have been predicting Propellerhead/RS would go out of business for a very long time. it’s not something anyone should be worried about. Sorry, in former times Propellerheads was owned by people who wanted to create au...

Re: Reason updates (11.3.7 / 11.3.8) and Reason+
So on topic again: What happens if Reason Studios get shut down? Looking at the owners of the company then something like that can happen in a heartbeat at any time if the numbers don't work out as good as expected. Will every Reason+ tenant get a full unrestricted and DRM free version of Reason 12 ...

Re: It's up now on the website: and, yep, a subscription plan
just ran a couple of numbers out of curiosity... -assume a new major version comes out every 1.5 years -assume a standard $130 upgrade fee for existing users -assume sound packs/refills isn’t a major selling point for most users look at costs over 5 years... Haha, hypothetical math! I love it! For ...

Re: Just deleted 11 years worth of songs.
A while ago I found some old 4 track tapes that I created when I was a kid. The songs were just rough sketches and jams and nothing to write home about but it was an instant time travel back into my youth. That was a really a nice experience. However, I get your point. Sometimes a fresh start is nee...

Re: Reason VST3 and Linux
If you count Android, ChromeOS, TVs, monitors, routers, servers, synths, effects and all of the other gazillion gadgets out there that run Linux then I'd say that that Linux has around 90% market share over all devices with an operating system. 8% may be running Windows and all Apple devices combine...

Re: Pigments v2.0 is here!
I'm also got the V-Collection so Arturia offered me Pigments 2 for 49 Euro so I really couldn't resist. I really like it. It's a good one stop synth with analog oscillators, wavetables, granular synthesis and sample playback paired with nice filters and really good effects. Eveything in one GUI and ...

Re: Where did the Propellerheads I/ we loved disappear to?
So, bad news: these people are not your friends. But good news: they develop and sell excellent software, which you own. The problem is: You don't own the software. RS has granted you the permission to run the software at their own will. If they want to then they can take away the software from you...

Re: No sale price on upgrades?
People should be very very thankful that the upgrade offers are publicly available in the first place and not hidden deeply in a flood of spam emails or only mentioned as a side note somewhere in a closed facebook group post.
This is not something that should be taken for granted with Reason Studios.

Re: NEW in the Shop: Virtual Drummer Rack Extensions – Successors of the A-List Drummer Series
For me there is huge difference between customers getting notified of a flash sale and a newsletter being the only way for a customer to receive the permission to upgrade a product. No it is not the only way and there is no difference. This has been explained to you several times. If you opt out of...

Re: NEW in the Shop: Virtual Drummer Rack Extensions – Successors of the A-List Drummer Series
I have tons of VSTs but I don't get a single spam mail because I didn't opt in to receive spam mails.
If I want to buy an upgrade for one of those plugins then I go to the vendors web shop, add the upgrade to my cart, pay the bill and then I download and install the upgrade. Easy enough.

Re: NEW in the Shop: Virtual Drummer Rack Extensions – Successors of the A-List Drummer Series
Well, that's the deal with Reason Studios and partners: You have to accept spam to get access to upgrades.
Everybody else seems to think that this is a great deal so I don't think that will change anytime soon.

Re: Announcing Reason 11
I have to say, Propellerhead / Reason Studios are doing a great job of selling Reason 11. When I saw the update I was convinced it wasn't worth the upgrade price for me personally. But I'm coming around with all these little videos they are putting out. some really nice stuff in there. What am I sa...

Re: NEW in the Shop: Virtual Drummer Rack Extensions – Successors of the A-List Drummer Series
Sorry, but this is BS. If they want my money then they have to make me a good offer. It's not my job to write begging letters to a sales department to get them to accept my money. I do not follow... A good offer has been made. It is advertised publicly on the website and in the video. I don't see a...

Re: NEW in the Shop: Virtual Drummer Rack Extensions – Successors of the A-List Drummer Series
That's what I don't understand. The shop has my purchase records. It shows me exactly what I've bought and on every RE's detail site I see wheter I've already bought it or not. The shop system even gets the bundles right where I've bought the items individually over the years. Still the only way to...

Re: NEW in the Shop: Virtual Drummer Rack Extensions – Successors of the A-List Drummer Series
How to we access the cross grade when we have opted out of the newsletter? Depends on whose. Whether it's UJAM or Propellerhead, I would contact their customer support. I sent a request and now I'm waiting for an answer. But from what I've seen on Facebook and kvr it seems like you're screwed if yo...
