The stability will depend on your system, but generally speaking the newer versions are solid. The workflow can be a bit idiosyncratic at times, but it has a ton of features.

What I don't really get is why they don't just bundle it and sell it in the shop instead of attaching it to Reason as a higher-priced version. Does it mean that we can perhaps expect certain features to only be included in future Suite versions?

I'll upgrade when they introduce high-res support. So sometime in 2025, probably.

What's interesting about Combinator is that it's a competitive advantage Reason has over other DAWs. I.e. other DAWs don't have Combinator in quite the same way.
