The VST rack is really amazing. Everything is automatable in Ableton just like that! Move a knob and it shows up in the channel automations! You can also use the FX version of the Rack VST to apply any Reason effects anywhere in your chain. This is a long time dream come true!! Finally I can use tho...

I will switch to Ableton for now. Maybe I will use ReWire, because I still like Malström and Grain too much.

I have the late 2016 MacBook Pro running the beta 3 and it runs pretty much exactly like it does on high sierra I believe

the low resolution mode method works, but damn... it looks really bad... I don't understand why propellerhead doesn't properly address this issue. the performance in reason has been horrible lately.

If this golden cage of MacOS is really blocking your workflow that much you could also simply install Windows.

I did not buy a mac to install windows on it.

I would go for a MacBook because of its portability and because I prefer the Operating System, which is a personal preference. Prior to this, I never had any real issues with Reason on High Sierra. It depends on where you want to use it and which OS you prefer.

I too just signed up on here to say that I have the same issues. I thought it was a problem with the latest version of Reason, so I downgraded to 10.0.2, but there was no improvement.
