I'm huge fan of linux for running on servers. However, I do not believe in a succes for reason on Linux. Because most linux-users want the app to be free and/or opensource.

Steinberg, the company who invented VST2, never released an apple silicon VST2 developer kit. They only released apple silicon VST3 devkits, and said that VST2 is dead.

Very happy with this AS native release. Great job guys

It's been in closed alpha for 6 weeks now. The beta will be public, but you still have to sign up for it, just like the VST3 beta. If you were previously a beta tester, then you should be eligible for the M1/M2 beta.

I was signed up for the previous beta. Let's hope we get an invite soon.

I signed up 22 nov, but still waiting for access. So no idea yet how it's implemented.
