Re: M-Audio Code 49
Interesting. So, once I map the controls to the CONTROLLER itself, then it doesn't matter what is happening in the Reason editor, is that what you're saying? In other words, if I map the cc values in the controller map software that came with the Code 49, that will do what I'm asking?

M-Audio Code 49
Hey guys- Has anyone successfully mapped the Code 49 to Reason with fader control, as well as Pad Kontrol for Kong, Redrum, and Dr. OctoRex (I know that these would obviously need to be three maps that would be switched between)? If so, can someone send me the map or a link to the video directing me...

Re: Reason 10 Features
Long story short yes the 8 stereo sends on Reason's mixer can routed wherever you want for both hardware sends and headphone outputs similar to how you would do so on an analog mixer. It just requires manual wiring within Reason. That's awesome that you can use the sends part of it but what about u...

Reason 10 Features
I just got Reason 10 free through the company I work for.
Does anyone know if this version incorporates simple outboard gear sends and modifiable headphone sends, as well as punching in??
I'm just really ready to say fuck Pro Tools if so.
thanks in advance

Korg Kontrol49 Is a Nightmare
Help. I bought a Kontrol49 used to Kontrol Reason 10 with my MacBook Pro running OS Sierra. BIG MISTAKE! This thing no longer has any usable MIDI editing software. The stock map to Reason sucks. It looks like it won't even control Kong. Does anyone have a map that they use for modern Reason that the...

Re: MCU Xtender's and Such - HIGHLY important question
Ok so I've got the Xtnder now and I fucking love these things. I ended up losing an auction on a C4 the other day, no big deal, another one will come around. But the integration with Reason and the Mackie's is fucking fantastic. Locks up with the SSL 4000K really nicely. I'm not even fucking around ...

Re: MCU Xtender's and Such - HIGHLY important question
Mackie MCU Pro Control + C4 + Xtenders work fine. We used to have MCU Pro + C4 and thoroughly enjoyed working on sessions and the faders are a damn sight quieter compared to the BCF2000. However we've moved on a bit and jumped for a cheap as chips Mackie d8b (because we're using more hardware and 2...

Making This Control Surface Work Properly....
Hey guys- Following up on a thread I posted a couple weeks ago. My Mackie MCU I ordered through the GC employee purchase program arrived earlier today. I'm busy getting it all set up - I found out the master fader doesn't work in Pro Tools which really pisses me off.... Anyway... After setting up wi...

Re: MCU Xtender's and Such - HIGHLY important question
Yeah, I think we can all agree that the Raven would suck to control Reason specifically. One more question, even though it supports the Mackie MCU Pro and ONE Extender, what about the C4 in addition to that? Obviously, I would have to buy a used one, as they are out of production, but would it actua...

Re: MCU Xtender's and Such - HIGHLY important question
I considered the Raven but I'm not the biggest fan on how it responds to touch. At least for the first generation series. Perhaps the new gen Ravens are better - I don't know.

MCU Xtender's and Such - HIGHLY important question
Hey guys- I'm finally making the big purchase next month on a big space for a commercial studio. I've put quite a bit of thought into all this. One thing I did NOT want to do is drop ten grand on a control surface that maps only to Pro Tools, and be an enormous paperweight in the studio when using a...
