Late to this party but ... I think it is a great synth. It has, like most Dreadbox stuff I've tried, its own personality and voice. For me it is one of those "get lost in it forever synths" and so therefore I find it very worth it.

I have the Typhon and also had the Erebus v3. Believe it or not I sold the Erebus.
I think it's a little wonder of a synth.

The pace of great releases is astounding. I'd rather have the Korg version, but I won't get either though. Like danc above, too many cool toys. Big fan on ios as well. Have considered picking up Factory on Mac but since there is IDAM don't think I'll do so.

I’m loving Zero and I’ve only gotten through the Pluck presets. Great synth.

I got it! Turns out I didn’t have monitoring turned on in the rack.

Haven’t tried using external and internal synths at the same time yet.

Hi fine folk. Anyone using IDAM with Mac and set it up with Reason? I’m successful only to a point - I get no audio. I am seeing midi activity in the midi device rack, I can see activity on indicators in the iOS synth I’ve loaded but alas I get no audio through Balance (monitoring with headphones). ...

Did some more research and listening and when I saw that Blamsoft Zero was Rent-to-Own I grabbed it. Lovely.

Wow - had not heard of Zero. I think I will put this on my list. Blamsoft made me sit up and take notice.

I'm not interested in the DX7 emulation per se, just would like to know more about FM and be able to use it in Reason. Some of those DX sounds are so ubiquitous as to be cliche. Not that cliche ever stopped me. hehe

I'm now using an iMac 2015, i5 with 8gb ram and external 1TB external drive. I boot from the external and this speeds this sytem up nicely. I use Balance as my interface and an M-Audio controller.
