Shiite.

Listening to various Nick Drake and Bob Dylan and The Cure. DJ that was and many other things, still for hire, and a great bass player with the best taste. Talking to sister in Oregon, while drinking, on phone. Step dad died a couple weeks ago. She has a great husband. He is in it to win it, like me...

Re: What's going on in the USA and stuff - Part II The Revenge

I had a really bad one for Hicks, so I changed it. Give a little bit. Here is list of folks filing for unemployment, selling home, still trying to read very first sentence in pre-num, stocking up on ammo, seeking anointment, extremely uncomfortable, watching entire Peep Show series again for second ...

Re: Adam Fielding's Livestream Thread (next stream-date in first post)

Ok... so my original plan was to stream tonight despite the heat, but then I ended up sleeping like crap last night. I feel like one of these and I’d have gone ahead, but doing a tired stream on the hottest day of the year? Doesn’t sound like a recipe for a good time. Don't you have a string vest a...

Re: another "Building a PC" cores and threads question

I would offer 500 for the Xeon with a 1060 or spend 250 more than he wants for it and get the Ryzen system especially if you think performance requirements could go up in the future.

I have some extra pot I don't use. Should I sell it? Otherwise it just goes in compost pile. Just kidding. A little DC humor. I am nearly out of papers and Norwegian Shag. Jeez, times are tough.

Re: What would YOU blow $300 on in your studio?

I have been wanting a second electric guitar for a while and the Yamaha PAC112V for 299 feels nice. The Jackson JS32 is nice as well and has a locknut to keep things going longer.

See the other thread, there is web application doing it on-line.
Well gosh, that takes all the fun out of the install. It could not get it working on an Rpi4 running Raspbian so I'll install it elsewhere and see how it works.

Re: Building a PC

I would recommmend building your own high end workstation. It is pretty darn easy, only 6-10 small wires normally (power switch, led, hd, int. speaker, fans) and everything labeled fairly well. All the rest are normally pretty obvious with large connectors for mb and video PSU, ram slots, cpu mount,...
