Simple way to invert CV?
Is there an easy way, maybe a particular device or rack extension, to invert a CV signal?

Why are there only two CV inputs and outputs in Complex-1?
Complex-1, the semi-modular synthesizer released by Reason Studios, only has two CV inputs and two CV outputs. You would think that the flagship semi-modular synthesizer on a platform whose defining strength is advanced CV circuitry would take better advantage of Reason's strengths in CV modulation....

Re: Setting velocity to max while live MIDI playing?
There are numbers and mode names printed above the keys. To enter 5 you would press the highest E key (E5) So you'd press "Setup" to enter Setup Mode, G#1 to select Velocity Mode, E5 to set "Fixed 127" then C5 to confirm the selection and exit Setup mode. Oh my goodness, thank you!!! Yes, it was E5...

Re: Setting velocity to max while live MIDI playing?
Probably best to do it in the keyboard. I think that one offers several fixed velocity options including a max (127) one. Look in the manual under "Setup Menu" Yeah, I think you're right! I'm having a lot of trouble with the GX-61 though. Here's the manual: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/61...

Setting velocity to max while live MIDI playing?
I have a touch-sensitive keyboard (nektar GX61) that I'd like to have always play at max velocity. How do I do this? Is there a way in reason, or do I need to fiddle with the Nektar settings on the keyboard itself?

Very simple VK-2 question: Amp Envelope?
How do I route one of VK-2's envelopes to the amplifier? So far, I've tried to use one of the mod busses to source CV1 to "Amp," and then connected the envelope's output to the CV1 input, but the effect I get is modulating the pitch rather than the amp, strangely enough. Any ideas here?

Re: Rack Extensions with keyboard tracking parameters?
Thank you for your insight! Does anyone know how to do this in the Mod Matrix of Papen's Quad? Having the same problem with Zero Hybrid. One awesome thing about Propellerheads (back when they were around) was that the devices they made basically always had a KBD knob that set the percentage to which...

Re: Rack Extensions with keyboard tracking parameters?
One awesome thing about Propellerheads (back when they were around) was that the devices they made basically always had a KBD knob that set the percentage to which the oscillator tracked the midi notes. Are there any RE instruments that do this? For me, the saddest omission is a KBD knob on Ammo 12...

Is there a quick way to remove all remote override mapping? So far, I've been going into remote override edit mode, which makes it easy to see which are mapped, but I still have to manually unmap each one.

Rack extension request: An "advanced" Janitor CV Shaper
It's Black Friday and I wanna treat myself. Any recommendations for essentially what would be an advanced version of Janitor CV Shaper?I like Janitor, but I wish I could change the shape (or "skew") of the attack and release. I have Shape, which is awesome, but it takes me too long to dial in envelo...

Recording MIDI from an instrument while simultaneously recording Shape envelope triggers?
So here's my setup: I have a midi controller that I'm playing the keys on an instrument with. I also have a Shape that I'm triggering with a rubber button tap on another midi controller. When recording, I play both at once, and it sounds good, but when I play it back, it seems that it's only been re...

Using Shape as an envelope for Noise Engineering extensions
Hey all! I'm trying to use Shape as an envelope for a Noise Engineering extension (Loquelic Iteritas Vereor). I attach Loquelic's envelope output to the CV input of Shape, and then I set shape to the Trigger One Shot setting. However, as I play notes, Shape seems to trigger only on the first key pre...

Long on-off toggle cv signal to quick trigger signal
I feel like an idiot for not being able to figure this out, but here goes: I'm trying to take a CV signal that is a long on/off toggle that holds for a long time, and make it into a quick trigger signal that only hits briefly at the beginning. This must be easy, right? Thank you!

Alternative stereo techniques for synthesizer-based music?
In stereo sound, acoustic instruments lend themselves well to approaches based on stage position. However, without "instruments" in a lot of analog synthesis type stuff, I'm curious about alternative stereo techniques. "Ping-ponging" is popular, which as far as I know pans according to an LFO or env...

Playing notes with midi controller on instrument with CV gate input?
I'd like to play the notes for an instrument on my midi controller, but not have them trigger the sound. Instead, I want the sound to be triggered by a CV gate input, so I just control what note it's playing. I feel dumb for not being able to figure this out myself!
