Hi m8s, I can't find Ambient Chord 2 (or ambientChord2 for that matter) among the stock patches, where can I find it?

Are you running numerous different VSTs + highres devices? Both add to CPU usage but also applies factors that are out of Reason's hands. I don't use any VSTs as R+ already gives me way more than I need, don't think I'm ever anywhere near my CPU's limits.

I guess we can't say for sure if there's now a built-in converter that handles old project files, but if there isn't, Reason must have been really well built from the start

I can't imagine they have ever removed anything from any sound banks, that would ruin projects.

Highres looks very good, sure, but how is it possible to introduce something like this and NOT have a legacy option showing the old bitmaps that we've been looking at for over a decade AND is the safe choice in terms on performance? Just very disappointed and baffled over that decision.

I just don't need all that fuss for a feature I don't need and it makes sense to have an option to disable it. Otherwise it's an instant deal breaker for me.

If it slows stuff down, sure I would very much like to have the option of using the old bitmaps too.

Performance is ape shit after upgraded to Hi Res. Wont panic just yet though.

Well that's not good, Reason has "always" run well on low-end systems, a significant performance hit will affect a lot of people.

Thank you. I did have a very soft spot for the bitmaps, I just loved them a lot, but WOW the new look is incredible in that video, it does look way better. And let's not forget the biggest upside - we don't have to hear that whine anymore from the user base xD

Loque do you know if 100% equals old bitmaps, or is everything redone? I'm on vacation and can't test, just curious :p
