Gave this try today - 20 mins later and I freed up 30+ GB - thks to all the tips posted...

Just rebooted and actually regained 41GB storage back so worth doing... and 20GB by deleting Reason Scratch disk contents...

Many companies install various versions of software that you don't need without giving you a choice...

Don't forget if your using Windows if you don't use ProTools you can delete the folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins

It might free up some pace...

Yeah crank up the reverb a bit on that brass - and it sounds sweet

Interesting - I doubt Reason will be considered though as a compatible Daw, still to this day you find software companies who never mention Reason in their lists of compatible DAWS for their products.

I just registered Minimonsta which I got cheap. Minimonsta2 isn't on their product page. I found it following a link but when I click add to basket it goes to another page which says your basket is empty.

Not jumped ship to my copy of R12 just yet - just a quick question; whilst using R12.5 if you delete all VST2 versions in favour of VST3 and open up an old rsn demo that contains VST2 - will the VST2 plugins be replaced with the installed VST3 plugins?
