Weirdly, a workaround seems to be that you can duplicate the channel by CTRL-drag and drop the Mixer channel a couple of pixels to the right until you get the red line, and then it behaves as it should when using the right-click menu command. Anybody on Win10 / R12 willing to take 30 seconds to test...

I use it at 100% as well. I do use a keyboard shortcut that can pop the Rack to 160 if need be, and another one to bring it back to 100. Stlll kinda kludgey though.

Going with 120% for now. EnochLight shamed me into it... Not sure I'll stick there though...

Options - Application Zoom - 240%. Load a device. That should help you appreciate the difference in graphics compared to version 11 and earlier.. Malwarebytes has prevented Reason from installing updates for me in the past.
I routinely disable it now when I'm doing any updates to Reason.

Couple things to try: make sure you are logged in as admin, or as a user with full admin privilege, and turn off any antivirus. Especially do these when installing Reason. Learned this the hard way. Good luck.

Maybe a rare case of forward thinking, for when they change it back...

I'm leaning towards buy now, use later myself. Rather vintage Win10 PC by now, although R11 works just fine on it...
