The problem Reason Studios have is that they are falling further and further behind all the other DAWs and Instruments. The majority have VST3 and M1 support now. It just doesn't fill me with either confidence in Reason Studios or enthusiasm for investing more time and money in the platform.

Setting up audio input and output in Reason seems to be missing the ability to set one hardware device as "input" (in my case Audiofuse 8Pre) and a different device as "output" (High end headphone amp/dac). It seems that in Reason you can only set the one device as both input and output. Is this cor...

I agree with Antic, BW is an incredibly complex modular rabbit hole. For true techy-focused producers that may be inspiring but if you just want to put down what's in your head then not so much. You'll have a lot of fun in BW but probably never finish a song!

Intriguing. Was interested in the Intensity verb and the Eternity delay, a great flanger might push me over the edge to get the collection. A lot in there I'd never use, particularly the compressors but even so still a decent deal.

Quite possibly the most beautiful synth ever, the 'reimagining' of the SH-101. The 101 is possibly my favourite all-time synth so this is an unmeasurable treat.

Is it me or does the upgrade pricing seem kind of high? Thats pushing AU$200 for basic and nearly AU$370 for suite here in Oz, and thats on top of the money already dropped on the full Reason v10 app. Hmm

At least you can see the text and buttons on a modern screen in Live. Better get the magnifying glass out if you're using Reason. Form follows function...

No graphical update for users of high resolution monitors so this will be a pass for me.

Bitwig 3 with the modular grid is quite brilliant. If creating your own devices and complex modulations floats your boat then you'll love it. Plus the Bitwig workflow which for me is super easy and streamlined so yeah, very nice package IMO.

Bitwig has taken over here so Reason doesn't see as much use as it used to.

If they bring out Complex-1 as a VST I'll be all over it. Interesting conceptually, sounds great. GUI is a bit meh but whatever. However, an instrument locked in to the RE paradigm just doesn't make any sense.
