Re: Pink Noise Studio Maia Song Challenge-WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Congrats! The winners each did a really good job showing what Maia could do.. great tracks too! Enjoyed listening to the entries, and it was as fun contest. As with a lot of these contests, it really also made me want the synth!

Re: Fairlight R2X Update status
Just downloaded the new RX2 pack. Thanks Bitley! Stay cool.
BTW, $50 sale for all of the WBF refill is pretty awesome.. I'd buy it if I didn't already have it. It's been a goto for me since I got it in January..

Re: Pink Noise Studio Maia Song Challenge
Here's my entry. https://soundcloud.com/david-berndt-94567556/maia-gone-world Maia is pretty great! I didn't have too much time on this one so wound up using a lot of the presets, which were pretty inspiring! It's easy to tweak though when you want to dig in. Fun challenge and good distraction to a ...

Re: (80s vibe) 1
Nice! Love those Bitley sounds! Also really like how you detailed everything you used, really great if I wanted to figure out what one of the sounds are. Thanks for that. Your voice is kinda of reminding me of the band When in Rome. Maybe the whole track actually. As your title says its got an 80s v...

Re: Making drum beats? & ethics question.
Not speaking for anyone but myself, but think the request is cool.. Even if you use it in a song it's probably not going to be much of a legal problem if it's just the drums.. although it'd probably stay away from a note for note transcription and just go with a groove that's inspired by the drums. ...

Wow! So cool to wake up to this. Great competition. Congrats to the other winners and everyone who participated. There were so many excellent songs! Loved the challenge of only using Luna. Thanks PInkNoise Studio for making a great RE and putting on a really fun competition.

Re: PinkNoise Studio 15th Anniversary Luna Song Challenge
Here's my entry! https://soundcloud.com/david-berndt-94567556/rideshare Luna used for all synths and also for percussion claps and 'toms' (on the chorus not in the intro).. I also recorded vocals and sequenced drums. It was a lot of fun! Started with a simple idea and kept taking it further. It turn...

Nice review! Thanks for describing the trigger delay knob. I was scratching my head as to how to control the repeat used on some of the presets..

Re: PinkNoise Studio 15th Anniversary Luna Song Challenge
Another rules question. I'm going from Luna into Thor's audio in and routing to filter 3 and then to the chorus effect. All the Thor oscillators are off, so figure the below point allows this, but just want to be sure. I'm making use of Thor's formant filter primarily here. Effects: any native Reaso...

Re: Mix and Mastering Rig 2
Forgot to mention Polar, which is unlike many of the other bundled items and can do things not easily done with stock reason. It's a great pitch shifter, guitar effect, special effect.. just learning what really can be done with this. It's a great bundle overall, no regrets in purchasing.. I don't u...

Re: Mix and Mastering Rig 2
I picked this up during black Friday for 50% off. I'd suggest waiting until it goes on sale, but it's a great deal either way. Maybe more geared for or essential for those recording audio (which I do a lot in reason). I love the Selig devices, especially the leveler. Once I got the hang of that, it'...

Re: Recording EZDrummer 2 directly into Reason Essentials 10
Hey gbvivek. I have EZdrummer and reason 10 so can give you my experience using that.... not sure in what ways essentials would be different. So when I open a new session and then create an easy drummer vst in reason I am able to play EZdrummer using any midi input that's connected to reason. If I h...

Re: New Bitley refill available soon
Excited to see this! I don't own any of his stuff but have been interested in his refills for a little while. I personally am fine with refills, it's really the sounds that are key if it expands my pallet. I downloaded the demos and really loved the instant 80 sounds. I found myself using one of the...

Re: Deal of the week: Parsec
For vocoding, it's most certainly my go-to synth over everything else in Reason, since the BV512 is really my only other choice. Parsec just has a more frequency-rich/lush sound when vocoding, IMHO (take from that whatever you want, lol)! It's a lot easier to setup for vocoding, as well (just run a...

Re: Deal of the week: Parsec
Not typical vocoder sound, but I am using Parsec as vocal fx in this short demo. 100% Parsec exception my voice.... https://soundcloud.com/dabene/this-is-parsec-part-2 Thanks for posting both examples. Great tracks! Love the vocoder sound you have here.. might actually be something I'd consider doi...

Re: Deal of the week: Parsec
Still mulling this one.. don't have it, gotta love 50% off the retail as I never bought v1. I downloaded the trial and started to dig into presets. Have to admit it's a different pallet then any of the other stock reason synths and sounds very warm and striking just from the stock sounds.. Personall...

no release notes Here are the release notes for you: Reason 10.0.2 • Fixed a bug that would cause the pitch curve in Pitch Edit mode to not be visible. This is basically a hot fix for the issue that some experienced in 10.0.1. :) Yes, thank you! As a Mac user this is a big fix for me. Awesome!

Re: superior drummer not responding to midi correctly
Thanks for the Combinator tip, it was useful for me also, I'm having TD9KX and the same problem. Is it possible to do something similar to cymbal mute function as well? Also do you experience problems with recognition when playing with e-drums? Is it a configuration issue or has my hihat and crash ...
