I had the same question. On Mac, its possible to activate the IAC driver in Audio-Midi-Setup and route it that way by using the Stochas standalone app. But i did not found out yet how to sync them. Any ideas?

There is a cheap vst called TrackSpacer which does this. It isn't a compressor. It take the eq curve of a signal, such as voice, and applies the inverse eq curve to another signal, such as background pad or sounds. You can adjust how intense the effect is and narrow the frequency range to apply it....
