It's midi input that is the problem, not output...

Seems like there are not any major improvements in the DAW area. Is Reason a rack only-thing now?

Haha. Now I have to find out what causes the most latency. I have a feeling that just putting reason VSTi -> hardware insert -> Reason VST effect (with RV7000) could be a more optimal solution.

I know on some plugins you have to assign a host automation ID to a control before it can be addressed by controllers. Do you think it's anything to do with that? Or do other plugins with MIDI CC out work, and RRP doesn't?

Doesn’t reason already have midi out with the midi device or is that just for hardware? Does midi out for reason mean for plugins, such as sampletank or any multitimbral vst/plugin? If so, I’ve been needing this too

MIDI device is not available in the plugin.

I'm holding off upgrading until I see Midi out and VST hosting. Sticking to the old rule of paying for what exists not what I hope they will introduce. Right now reason 10 is fine for me.
