Re: Reason Slow Performance - when is optimisation coming?
Thanks! Trying this tonight. Hey, did it improve things for you? Just posted about this in another topic. Definitely worked for me, improved lag, overall stability, and most importantly stopped my fans from running like crazy (used to happen after 30-40 mins usage). Haven't pushed it to any limit y...

Re: Scrolling in the rack is so janky
Just wanted to say that I tried the sRGB fix a couple weeks ago and I can't believe what a difference it makes on my MacBook. Absolutely incredible. The fans used to go completely mad after like 30-40 mins of continuous use of Reason (and Reason only of course), and now they're silent as ever. Every...

Re: Anyone of you tried ghostproducing??
I've done a fair bit of this over the years, but never for that specific site. I looked over there a while ago but didn't get too deep. Interesting to see that there are experiences on both sides of the coin here. The strangest thing was seeing representatives for the website when I went to Amsterda...

Sorry, I don't have a copy but I'm looking for one as well. Let me know if you manage to locate one. I doubt it'll run on my current Mac setup but maybe I can use a Windows version with an emulator?

Strange I thought I replied to this thread but replied to the other one. Anyway, one fix is a much-needed one for me where Valhalla reverb tails cut off abruptly. It's all good now.

One is a much-needed one for me which fixes a bug while using Valhalla reverbs where the reverb tails cut off abruptly and oddly.

Re: Reason Slow Performance - when is optimisation coming?
One thing I’d love to see is better graphical performance for VSTs. It wasn’t until I used Serum in Cubase for the first time in ages that I realised how smoothly everything moves. In reason it’s kinda sluggish and jerky. I wonder if this has anything to do with overall performance? I’ve always fel...

Re: Massive X and 8 other Native Instruments Releases!
Historically, upgrades to the latest Komplete aren't on sale the immediately following Black Friday / Xmas sales. They wait until the next summer to do a blowout. I'm not sure if I'll be upgrading. I just upgraded to K11 Ultimate not too long ago, and there's still so much to explore in there. Massi...

Re: The Future Sound of London have made a synth
But in this day & age it's a hard sell. 3,500 gets you a lot of synth these days. Or maybe a very nice Eurorack set-up. Be interesting to build a Eurorack set-up that has similar sections as the FSOL VCS3. I bet you could build it cheaper, sound fantastic & be more flexible in sound capability & pa...

Re: [EDM] NEVER ALONE
Enjoyed this! Huge fan of Kick 2 as well. Out of curiosity why do you use Battery over Kong etc? Hi - for me... Battery has a lot more - and I mean a serious lot more - functionality to mould drums sounds........ whereas Kong only gives you a handful + plus you are limited to how many you can run a...

Re: RE Purchase Fasting?
I haven't purchased a new RE in over a year (Futzbox last September). I did buy a refill a few weeks ago on the sale though, couldn't resist. But it's been great! I have way too much stuff as-is. I'm trying to constantly find uses for the things I have and although there are REs that look really coo...

Re: The Future Sound of London have made a synth
£3500?! Does it cook my breakfast as well? I don't mind paying for quality, but wow. There are so many capable analogue synths on the market these days, I couldn't imagine spending that kind of money on this. Sounds great, but I dunno.

Re: (House) - My first collaboration
Cool track! I like the vocals, though I do think they could use some more effects and maybe a slightly better mix. I also thought the lead sound could be more interesting. But I LOVE the beats & bass, and the arrangement is great!

Re: House Music Ideas
Depends of course on exactly what vibe of House you're going for but generally if its dance floor stuff the key is actually to keep it simple. Like Timmy said, the interest comes from variations in frequency (opening and closing filters for example) or rhythm like adding small variations in hi hat p...

Re: What makes Reason so inspiring?
It's really hard to put into words. Part of it is familiarity because I've used it a long time. I guess the other part is simplicity, things like programming drums I find really easy in Reason, more so than other DAWs. I love the sequencer personally, there isn't much I do in my workflow that isn't ...

I already hate it. I know from using Live. But the good news for both of us is, according to the gifs on their blog, it seems it’s an option alongside the usual grid divisions! So all good for me.scratchnsnifff wrote: ↑28 Aug 2018Idk how I feel about the adaptive grid size, but I’m sure once I try it I’ll like it.

I'm a huge Reaktor fan, love all the different synths people have made. I haven't really gotten into making my own yet, but there's so much to explore I don't think I ever will! I love Razor, it's like Parsec but different enough that I get completely different sounds. Shame it just doesn't run well...

Re: (EDM / Bass House) Where Your Heart Is
First time posting music outside of a challenge, and wouldn't normally at all except I'm really proud of this one! Not even so much the song itself but the fact that I managed to squeeze this out of Reason at all  It's around 65 tracks or something, tons of bouncing, tons of processing, and I ...
