Re: Trippy New Age/World
This all caused me to investigate Youtube's algorithm in greater depth. I learned that generally views from an embeded player do count. So I updated things and now it does play from the OP.

Re: How much have you spent on REs, refills and upgrades this year?
I'm with Poohbear. Too much. I don't even want to know. I should probably quit, but I just love the buttons and knobs.

Re: Trippy New Age/World
"Playback on other websites has been disabled by the video owner" Even though my channel is not monetized and probably never will be, I chose this because I like to be able to track views. I realize that this will actually reduce views, but that is not a concern for me. It isn't so much about getti...

Re: PSQ-1684 Rack Extension Appreciation Thread
One question came to my mind, is it possible to tap in/ record manually pulse and then pulse would be repeated/looped by psq and manipulated by other pulse options(like chaos/delay)? And how about note sequence, would be possible to play in with midi controller wanted notes to the sequencer/quatize...

Re: PSQ-1684 Rack Extension Appreciation Thread
I love the PSQ. I have been mostly using it to sequence drums and percussion. I have been using varying amounts of randomization though the sequencer part, chaos, and automation on the euclidean function, shift register, and DP density. It gives great control over the degree and areas of randomizati...

Trippy New Age/World
This song was a collaboration of two Reason users who met through Facebook. Myself and Carl Lohmann. The percussion was made with the Impact Soundwork's Forest Frame Drums refill. They were sequenced using the PSQ-1684. Also Chromophone 2 and Omnisphere 2 were used. The video is all original content...

Re: Sample-accurate scratching with Grain - Yes/No?
I've been digging the manual for info, googling, searching the forum (everyone was scratching surfaces and various body parts); but in the end: I'm looking for at least a somewhat realistic scratching possibility. I tried the tape-freeze combo and manually modulating the "position" (resulting in so...

Re: Bladerunner Brass Synth
Thanks for the comments on my patch for the Mesa track. I agree that I overdid it on the distortion. After the sweet little melody in Mesa the track then completely goes off the rails. I suppose that is what got all the noise on my brain. So I revised the patch. I updated the link on the video to le...

Re: Bladerunner Brass Synth
This thread sent me on a mad quest to emulate that sound on the Mesa track. I've become a bit obsessed and have made 5 patches or so with different synths. I think the sound probably has some samples blended in, and also some oscillators with warp functions like on Europa. Could be that I'm just hea...

Roland GR-300 emulation patch
I made a patch attempting to emulate Pat Metheny's Roland GR-300 sound. I posted a video about it and put a link in the comments to download the patch. I'm interested in suggestions on how to improve this sound if there are any Metheny fans out there. This is friendly to Reason versions dating back ...

Re: Resonans Song Challenge
Here's my entry to the Resonans Song Challenge, and my introduction to ReasonTalk. Hi all, I Just signed up. I've owned Reason since 1.0, but have only gotten serious with my music in the last year or so. Everything was made with Resonans except the vocals and hand claps :P . https://soundcloud.com/...
