Easiest way to do this is to get hold of Robotic Bean's TM1 Trigger Multiplexer RE - this will allow you to use devices with individual trigger CVs (like Redrum) to sequence other devices that only have single CV/Gate inputs - like NNXT and VSTs.

Re: Arturia Spark2 not compatible with reason?
It works - with limitations - Spark can assign 16 stereo outputs - Reason VST holder only offers 8 stereo outputs (which to be honest is not a major problem - less is more for me with drum tracks). You mention you are on Reason 9.5 - I'm running 10.1 - not sure if this makes a difference - it should...

Re: px7 vs. fm4
Does PX7 sound identical to the DX7 when you use converted patches? I just might get it if it does because FM8 just doesn’t cut it especially on more complex patches compared to the real thing. I tested this when the PX7 first appeared using patches from my TX-802 (rack mount DX7 mk2) - and they so...

Re: MaschineR, PusheR? Any users here? Looking for opinions.
Push2 / PusheR2 user...works for me - no issues whatsoever - easy install and if you're using Live and Reason together the ability to flip the hardware between the two is ace. Not tried the Maschine / Maschine combo - I have a Maschine Mk2 but the Push2 covers all the bases as far as Reason goes. $3...

Re: Cv-Wizardry: Splitting/Mapping Bipolar values to 2 cv outs
The Pongasoft CVA-7 has a 4 channel CV splitter and can invert CV signals - so for example Ch1 can be regular bipolar, Ch2 can be inverted (the exact opposite) - this might be what you're looking for?

Re: How good is ReTouch's Pusher for controlling devices?
If you have a Push / Push2 and Reason then PusheR / PusheR2 is a no-brainer...very slick integration...nothing like Automap (I have a Remote SL2 - I just use that for any REs that aren't catered for in PusheR).

Re: Reason 9.5 Midi clock sync with Roland System-1m
Clutching at straws now but is there a control panel in Windows for the MIDI drivers? - it just sounds like something is blocking / stripping out MIDI clock sync from going anywhere - might be worth a check if such things exist (my knowledge of Windows and music apps is ancient, XP/NT - I went from ...

Re: Reason 9.5 Midi clock sync with Roland System-1m
Time for a quick recap - System-1m is all set to receive MIDI clock with 'Temp Sync' active, Reason is sending MIDI clock and we have the output port set correctly - in theory this should all work. As you have 'Send MIDI clock while sequencer is stopped' checked - if you adjust the tempo in Reason (...

Re: Reason 9.5 Midi clock sync with Roland System-1m
I assume you are trying to sync the LFO rate or Delay time on the System-1m with Reason? - sorry to be obvious but is the 'Temp Sync' button on the System-1m lit?

...and on the System-1m make sure that MIDI clock source is set to 'Auto' (hold down the 'WRITE' button, press 'LFO KEY TRIG' - make sure the 'RING' button is lit)

If you're running Reason 9.5 then have a look for a VST editor for the Motif - that I think would be your only real option in Reason.

Re: Roland Cloud VST plugins, compatible with 9.5 on Mac?
Roland only allow you to install Audio Unit and VST3 versions on a Mac - I've asked Roland about this, knowing that Windows users have access to VST2 - and their answer was: "Unfortunately, we are not providing VST 2.4 versions of PLUG-OUTs for Mac OS, as indicated in specification tab of our produc...

Re: Best way to compensate for external MIDI latency?
OK - your old MIDIMan unit could be one issue, but I'm not sure how current the drivers are - what OS are you running? The USB MIDI problem is not one I've encountered - I've got 2 10 port hubs running plus an Elektron Overhub and no problems - are your USB hubs powered from a PSU? If you intend to ...
